tonger wrote:i dont understand why its so difficult to admit that we dont have a top midfield.... we will start winning games, because we are milan, but its not gonna be because our midfield will become creative all the sudden, its because players like ibra and robinho will be back....
BUT until we fix the problem in the midfield, serie A is never a sure thing, and UCL will definitely be out of reach.
good point tonger ... eventually i think, and i hope things will get better, but in general like tonger said, even if we have full available squad, we have problems with some individuals who arent really suited or meant to be in our club, and eventually will show flaws that would cost game.
its because some of our talents and veteran players we have won, but compared to european elites we are way down, and have serious catching up to do.

i know that napoli were on hot form but still, losing 1-3 is *bleep* unacceptable!, dummy allegri is killing me!, bonera as LB????, seriously??, and why the hell wait 75 minutes to give Elshaarawi a chance??, the game was pretty much over with napoli gathering at the back and playing counter??, he'd have been perfect from the start or even at the begenning of the second half, this is driving me crazy, he did very well giving the circumstances....F U allegri..
and btw, pato will never be the best striker in the world or anything, he'll just be another "could've been" player, nothing more...
i'm mad as hell right now..
People don't appreciate Fadi's contributions mostly because of the callous, pessimistic nature of his posts. However, he does raise valid points and assesses the teams flaws.
Bonera started at left back when two left backs sat on the bench. Bonera committed a silly foul outside the penalty area that led to Napoli's goal. That was a poor selection by Allegri imo.
El Shaarawy should have come on much sooner. As we saw vs Barcelona, 70% possession means nothing if you don't use it. Cassano, Pato, and Aquilani were poor today.
Antonini is notorious in failing against counter-attacking sides
Zambrotta can only play once a week or else there will be fatigue.
Bonera sadly was the best possible choice.
And like I said I like fadi but he really is questionable
sometimes.
And jeps, you know how much i respect
you as I did not point you out.
My point is some posters let their emotions cloud their judgement all to many times.
And yes i do admit our mid is slower then mertesacker. But allegro does well to compromise. But we will reinforce in winter as this is a guarantee

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
i have said aquilani was our best midfielder today, and i also said in this thread that my "midfield" criticism was directed at seedorf mvb and nocerino
ya we looked into the signings, ya the club realize its a problem, but me stating that it is a problem, is that really a bad thing?

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
and come on, dun tell me you dun see that 9/10 times when cassano or pato gets the ball, they start running out of options because its always 2 or 3 vs 5 or 6, what can the forwards do in situations like these, not everyone is a messi...
look from the tone of your post, i sense you are offended, im sorry if i offended you some how, but im just saying what i see is the problem in our team that is all, and im not a pessmistic fan either, ive been around this forum and the old one for a lonnnng time, and i assure u people whos been here for a long time can tell you that im not the type of the fan u clearly think i am

2 SS cannot play in this formation.
And lol at the knee jerks.
And fadi, you said if you draw Barca you would be off the forums for good.
Nothing to worry about at all considering the injury circumstances. Trust me.
I would not call Pato a second striker at this point. He is a lethal finisher who can also play as a winger, but in terms of creativity and passing he is lacking.
If Pato were a second striker in this system, then we would have no chance in any match, in which Ibrahimovic does not play.
I can name dozens of games where pato has been creative.
If people actually knew pato they would know that he thrives playing off
a CF just like any other small forward/SS
Anyway this forums mood is only influenced by current status and nothing else. Seen it all and proved everyone wrong last year.
See you guys next match.
Perhaps there is simply a miscommunication. A difference in definition. To me, Pato is a goalscorer first, a creator second. IMO that makes him more of a center forward. Two center forwards can play together when there is a creator behind them. Hence why Pato and Ibra can play in a 4-3-1-2.
Is Ibrahimovic our only center forward? That would be a great flaw in the design of the team by Galliani and management.

You criticized that "no one" makes runs and then our goal comes from making a run
I'm not saying that you calling the midfield is a problem, It's just a very obvious problem that Milan have been working on for years now

Then why do you post if you do not care for the contributions of others? You call it pessimism ad nauseam. Perhaps it it is simply an objective critique of the team we all support.
I post when Milan lose, and I notice a flaw in the side. I post when I have an opinion on a potential lineup. I post in celebration of a victory and give praise to those who deserve it.
It's not pessimism. It's not blind optimism. It's objectivity and realism. We are feeling down about the loss. When we beat Udinese on Wednesday, the forum will be in celebration once more.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
okay man, i watched the game and i saw the goal scored by aquilani from cassano, if you really want me to change my words ill do it
"lack of runs from our midfield today is very costly"
does that make you happy?....
im aware who we are related to in the transfer market, and im aware who is ACTUALLY in this team, this problem is not recent, and like i said its been a hole since kaka left and everyone knows this, i love milan, and i enjoy watching milan winning trophies, thats why i say what i say
look i dont want to have non-constructive arguments with fellow milan fans so if this does not make you happy either, i will just stop replying to your posts.
EDIT: for the record
"abate frustrated me today, his made alot of attempts at crossing, but most of them ends up no where, again this has to do with 2 strikers vs 5, 6 or 7 napoli players because our midfield (mvb seedorf nocerino) DO NOT PARTICIPATE"
this is what i posted earlier, and i just decided typing mvb seedorf and nocerino everytime is not worth the time, and so i labelled them "midfield"

Pine I simply have pointed out that Pato does have creativity although his passing should be more sharp.
Pato is not a CF by any means or any spectrum. His type of position is a small forward to a false 9.
He is in the mold of Aguero but like aguero, Pato will be less effective when not around a CF like Aguero is nonexistent when forlan was absent.
Ibra the only CF/S? There was inzaghi but he is injured which is why there is consistent talk of need for a vice Ibra which we did not aquire.
But yes the mid must be refreshed as only then pato and co. will receive
proper service.

Either December of January, we start in the Round of 16 against either Catania or Novara.
This shows which big teams we're likely to meet throughout the knockouts if we win. http://www.legaseriea.it/it/tim-cup/calendario-e-risultati/tabellone-tim-cup-2011/2012

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
I was actually looking forward to this match since Milan are entertaining a quality side in Udinese also want to catch a glimpse of the Romanian Messi aka Gabriel Torje but Juve-Bologna is playing at the same time unfortunately..
And Allegri's persistence on Seedorf in the starting lineup is well-known..This should be great game anyways..
Also Brigate is that you in your sig ?
