Ferrara talks Juventus-Napoli
Ciro Ferrara expects to be entertained when former clubs Juventus and Napoli meet in Serie A this weekend.
The Champions League duo are in joint second place in the standings, just three points shy of leaders Roma.
“I think it will be a very open game,” the man who won League titles with both told Sky Sport Italia on Friday.
“Juventus, in terms of tradition, will be advantaged and they will be playing at home too,” added the former Juve and Sampdoria boss.
“They are in excellent shape both physically and mentally.
“Napoli will need to be perfect. They are a side who have only messed up one game so far this term and that was against Sassuolo [1-1 at home].
“Rafael Benitez has done well so far and he’s had the courage to rotate his starting XI on a number of occasions.”
The tie will also see a battle between two Argentine strikers – Juventus’ Carlos Tevez and Gonzalo Higuain of Napoli.
“They are essential to their teams,” Ferrara continued. “They are two players of an absolute level, even if Higuain seems to be more of a charismatic leader, someone who can inspire his teammates.”
