Juve fans' 'special' Ronaldo welcome
Juventus fans are preparing to hand Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo "a special welcome" after a controversial clash at Santiago Bernabeu on Champions League matchday three.
Giorgio Chiellini was dismissed after allegedly elbowing Ronaldo in the face in the second half of the match, which Madrid eventually won 2-1, much to the anger of the Bianconeri support.
And Goal Italy was at hand to ask some of the die-hard Juve supporters how they plan to welcome the 28-year-old.
"Cristiano Ronaldo will be greeted with boos," said Lorenzo Brigidi, head of the Juventus fan club Doc Orcia Valley.
"Football is a sport where honesty and fairness are valued. A player can be a technical phenomenon, but Juve fans like players who are complete."
Meanwhile, another fan club member, Annamaria Licata, echoed these sentiments: "I state that for us, Juventus comes first, and then everything else.
"What Cristiano Ronaldo did will not be forgotten. He will receive the welcome he deserves. It will be a show within a show."
A Doc Casamarciano fan club member, Angelo Alessio, added: "Surely Cristiano Ronaldo will find he gets a special welcome after what happened in Madrid.
"Fans of Juventus are ready to catch him. He has become the protagonist of a really unsportsmanlike gesture and, therefore, will be jeered loudly."
Meanwhile, another fan was more lighthearted in his appraisal of Ronaldo's performance at Santiago Bernabeu, but believes the Portuguese attacker will also be treated with contempt by Juve fans.
"Cristiano Ronaldo has demonstrated a great appetite for goals and acting against the Bianconeri. His display in this match is a great business card that he can present to some Hollywood director after his football career, joked Rivoira Luca, president of the Juventus fan club Doc Settimo Torinese.
"He is a player who is smart enough to fool the referee. And he will certainly hear a lot of whistles against him from the Juve stands this time around."
But there are also those Bianconeri fans who warn against giving the 28-year-old a hostile reception as it could backfire and give Juve more heartache, according to Marcello Buscaglia, founder of the Juventus fan club Godiasco Po.
He said: "Provoking him could motivate Ronaldo further and encourage him to play even better in the match."
Pierre Borg, from the Juventus fan club Doc True Love Malta 1975 is on the same wavelength: "Cristiano Ronaldo really likes to be the centre of attention, so ignoring him completely would be the right thing to do."

While Juventini coordination and fanship must be applauded here;
If they actually knew Cristiano, they would know that this will only spur him on and play even better.
Not a wise move to make him a target.

Booing Cristiano is like the worst possible reaction you can give him.
Blatter "insulted" him and he turned into the GOAT overnight
(inb4 biggest flop performance of all time)

Re: Juve fans' 'special' Ronaldo welcome
He's usually booed away from Madrid. Aka this is a non-factor. Was hoping it would say they we're going to hand him a bouquet and a tiara. Welcome him like a princess since he acts like one.
Ronaldo is a top player though. Kind of useless article is what I'm trying to say.

Cristiano is at least three times better than anyone Juve has on their team. If he's a princess then what does that make JuveLuca wrote:He's usually booed away from Madrid. Aka this is a non-factor. A) That's obviously not true
B) No doubt he's reffering to his disgusting playacting and diving.

Re: Juve fans' 'special' Ronaldo welcome
It's a natural part of football elm
Fans of the inferior rival club get bitter due to their clubs own shortcomings. They then jump on the bandwagon of any team who is against us (the superior rival club) and mock us despite being 10x worse off
The beautiful thing is, no matter how badly others defeat us, we're still doing better than they are

I'm a Milan fan and not a Juve fan, and that means I am never doing worse than you, no matter how badly my team is playing.
