A problem which we can obviously solve by signing 1 or 2 world class CFs.

Also, he has 11 goals and 7 assists this season despite playing in a weaker league(let's be honest). Those are Oscar's numbers pretty much, and Hazard's numbers are better. Is he a better goal scorer than Willian? Obviously, anyone is. He's not that much better at scoring than Schurrle though. Either way, we have absolutely no use for him.

Kick, just look at United buying RVP, his first year has masked other glaring issues and convinced them that the previous asset plus his addition would be enough for the next years as well.
If we sign a striker alone we'll start scrapping a win in lots of games where we're struggling, and most likely win the PL, but in order to have significant improvements in our playing style and make a further step forward as a club (reaching Barca/Bayern/Madrid's level) we should absolutely buy a midfielder or two and start looking to rejuvenate our defense (Cole is at his last season and JT is 33/34?). I guess we'll be fine in that aspect with Zouma, Shaw and Courtois but in the summer a midfielder it's just as important as the striker, IMO

I don't think Kick is suggesting we sign ONLY a centre-forward this summer. The broad if not universal consensus among this section's regulars is that there are multiple areas of the team that need reinforcing, and that addressing any one of them without also rectifying the others will yield only modest dividends long-term.

This might be the worst piece of journalism Lipton has ever put out about Chelsea, and that's saying a lot considering his long line of baseless trash. Its funny that even when he gets an actual inside scoop from the club, he adds his own bit of junk to make up a "juicier" story. Ridiculous fella.

I wasn't suggesting we only sign a CF, I want a CF wrapped up ASAP. then we can focus on other areas, CF is priority number one. Above all else.

We haven't been linked but what you guys think of Javi Martinez, surely he is not happy with being a CB at Bayern. Would he and Matic be good pair?

Maybe a Luiz-Martinez swap, Luiz should not be played in midfield and Martinez should not be a CB.

I still rate Luiz very highly, i still like to think Cahill-Luiz is the future of Chelsea CB.
