I really see minimal need to buy a CF now. We should focus on CM.

Feruz and Bamford say hello, as do Ba, Eto'o and Torres.

Lukaku as the main CF and a combination of them as backup.

Bamford and Feruz are nowhere near first-team quality and Torres, Eto'o and Ba couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Well first of all, You're the one Claiming Bamford is too good for the eredivise.

Torres isn't going anywhere for a few seasons so he'll be in the side next year. While Ba is poor, he's an ok back up and over time, both Bamford and Feruz will become ready to step up to the first team.

We might have to buy a back up in a season or two but if we actually give a chance to Lukaku, I don't see the need for dramatic changes.

What are the chances that not only one, but TWO youth strikers will be good enough to make the step up and become first-team regulars? The sheer rarity of such a scenario in itself should be more than enough to prevent you from declaring that our plan for the future.



Ba is an 'ok back up' in what dimension of reality? He's pants. The worst of an absolutely hopeless lot. (Cue Mole entering to tell us all he's actually "world class!!!!" and we just 'don't know how to use him properly'...)

TBH, both Bamford and Feruz are exceptional players, both very capable of playing top top football.

Ba is just out of form, he has shown what he can do and I still rate him higher than Torres.
