Question about Sahin and Kagawa Empty Question about Sahin and Kagawa

Post by Gil Tue Oct 29, 2013 3:12 pm

Is there a reason they are/were playing incredible for Dortmund but have been mediocre elsewhere? Is it the system that's making them look better than they actually are or perhaps they aren't the nomadic type?

Hell, I think this would apply to most of their players aside from phenomenon's like Gotze and maybe Gundogan.

I think it's Kloppo. He turns good players into great players.

Reus was a beast at BMG too. I can assure you he is not a 'system' player.

At Real Madrid Sahin barely played and at Liverpool I don't think he played as a CM alongside Lucas.

In terms of Kagawa, has he actually had a consistent run of games in his actual position, which is AM? Not sure why he joined Man Utd if he wasn't guaranteed a starting AM spot.

Sahin was unlucky with injuries and Kagawa simply made the wrong footballing decision to join United, listened to his heart rather than his brain.

Kagawa has showed flashes of the player he was at Dortmund while with us..problem is he's had no consistency in his best position and starting games in general, still think given the chance he'd be incredible, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen unfortunately.

Sahin injury has effected his game and Kagawa is player who isn't being used correctly at United.

Im curious to see how more dortmund players do outside of the klopp's coaching.

kagawa i legitimately think is a very decent player, nothing overly spectacular, but just went to a team where he was never likely going to be able to assert himself in his natural position of CAM.

sahin looked like a very special player but as we saw, it appears that he needs a more specific system in order to have success. imo that diminishes the quality as he wasnt able to adapt to madrid's system or liverpools even though he did play his natural position.

I havent seen any of gotze

and its a bit ironic how madrid fans are STILL excusing sahin due to injury problems yet they have already brought out the torches and pitch forks for bale.

Sahin was never going to take Alonso's spot.

I guess the price difference between the two might be a reason for that plus the causa Özil. Nuri Sahin was considerably cheap and no big player had to leave for him, while Gareth Bale was pretty expensive and Mesut Özil left because of that transfer.

people blaming Sahin's flop based on injuries??
I thought it was because a certain coach decided to play him completely out of his normal role in the LB role..
