Well thanks ref for ruining a great game with some horrible calls all in Madrids favor, pretty much ending our CL run.

Still though, this was a very good performance from us.

And to those calling Chiellini an idiot, why dont you actually watch the game. In Serie A sorry but that is most of the time not a PK. And that red card was absolutely laughable.

This, I feel sorry for you guys. With 11 men you had the game in your pocket, could have easily equalized and taken the 3 points home as well. How many times this season already did the ref give advantage to RM???? dirty club

One man called him "Idiot" and the poster is just above your post. This is not Serie A, this is the UCL. Refs seems to be more strict with respect to plays like that. The red card was a real error but the PK was Chiellini's error of judgement.

Also, Juventus' performance was very good. Not sure why said fans were so doom and gloom about their chances. Pretty much expected such a performance honestly...

The real question now is whether juventus will make it to the Europa League, Platini's fav competition

BTW Rooney's run for Man U's goal was awesome.

Juve were the better team until Chiellini got sent off for no reason. Possession was better, their pressing was better and created more chances too. We played as if Mourinho was still the manager. Sitting back and counter-attacking with poor possession play.

The way Madrid played tonight. I don't know if you can actually beat them in Turin. If Alonso returns in time then probably, or if your midfield improves.

You do have quite a lot of game winners though. Counter attacks can work in your favour with the pace you have.

Ancelotti is awful, i have seen enough PSG games to know so. He is no improvement on Mourinho on paper, just a nicer guy. we are in for two years of awful with him unless we flop majestically this season.

Im just venting. Fact is, PK or not, we were clearly the better team even 2-1 and had a serious chance to come back and even win the game. The red card changed that and also ruined the game. Another thing that bothers me was that Caceres gets a yellow for complaining, Chiellini gets a straight red for nothing, yet Ramos doesnt get a yellow until the 85th minute after taking people out from behind all day.

The ref clearly favoured Madrid and it showed.

Im very happy with our performance though. Everyone played excellent. Its clear that the 433 is the way to go. I also dont blame us. Could any team in the world go down to 10-men, down 2-1, and actually be able to come back and win against Madrid? Maybe Bayern. But if so, then thats it. And thats a big if. But we still gave it a shot and played decently considering we were down to 10 men and every call went Madrids way.

Chiellini obviously f*cked up at the penalty, that was clear, but the red card.. Sad to see such a good match ruined by stupidity and diving.

whenever I see Real Madrid play against a big team, they do tend to be the team that creates the least chances and yet win in the end, except against us last season where they were clearly better than us, except for the first leg of the supercup and copa del rey. It was the same against Man Utd for example.

it felt like the ref forgot to give chiellini a yellow for his ramos pull, and should have given another yellow for the foul on Ronaldo. all and all, a red. I dont feel bad for him, he deserved it.

but i think he saw it as last man fault, killing a clear action on goal, red card.

the ref will sleep easy tonight, did his job.

Bayern completed 744 passes, with a 90% pass accuracy tonight.

Watch the red card again. Chiellini puts his arm across Ronaldos chest while shoulder to shoulder. Ronaldos flailing arms brings Chiellinis arm to Ronaldos face. Ronaldo falls down crying. That is not even a foul. At the absolute most give a foul hut in no way is that even a yellow.
