Giovinco or Llorente for Juve?
Juventus boss Antonio Conte will have to decide whether to start with Sebastian Giovinco or Fernando Llorente against Fiorentina on Sunday.
The tactician’s attacking options have been reduced for the Tuscan trip given the injuries to Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella.
Conte will now use the next three days to decide whether Giovinco or Llorente will begin alongside Carlos Tevez in attack.
The latter has been a regular fixture in the side so far this season given that he has appeared in all seven of the side’s League games this term.
The Argentine and Arturo Vidal are the club’s top scorers in the championship thanks to three goals each. Tevez is currently 7/1 in the Serie A top goalscorer market.
Juventus, who will face Real Madrid in midweek, are expected to be tested in Serie A on Sunday at the Artemio Franchi.
Juventus are odds-on with Paddy Power to win Serie A, but there are doubts over whether they can collect a third successive championship.
Although they have won six and drawn one of their seven League games so far, they have already conceded six goals in the process.
The Bianconeri are currently joint second in the Italian top flight with Napoli, two points behind leaders Roma. Those two teams will play each other in Rome tomorrow night.

Start Giovinco, bring Llorente in at some point
My thinking is, Llorente should start against Madrid. This is one team he has experience with in a league he learned everything in. Could be a good thing to try tbh.

It's pretty much been that way all season with Serie A and UCL. If you have a Tuesday game, you get a Saturday match. If it's a Wednesday game, you play on Sunday. I'm pretty sure that's been consistent all season with the league.FilthyLuca wrote:....but we're juventus and the league cheats in our favor blah blah blahCotes wrote:It's messed up we have to play Sunday...when we got a match midweek...

The next big match in Serie A between Roma and Napoli will be brought forward by a day to Friday October 19.FilthyLuca wrote:but damn, Napoli gets to play Friday.
A planned protest in the Italian capital on Saturday will stretch police resources for such a big event, forcing the game to bemoved by 24 hours. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis had forwarded a notion to play the game at midnight on Saturday, while the Lega Serie A had also considered reversing the fixture and staging it in Naples.
With a postponement of the game to December regarded as a last resort, the decision has ultimately been taken to bring it forward, even if it means both clubs may have to do without several key players who are due back from international duty just 24 hours earlier or even that same day. Both clubs have agreed to the change.
“We’re in favour of playing on Friday, or later on in the evening,” said Napoli coach Rafa Benitez at the weekend. “We could play at 22:00, which I’ve already done. Moving the game to December, on the other hand, would be complicated.”
Roma's 100 percent record means they have a two-point lead at the top of the table ahead of the first real top-of-the-table clash of the campaign.
