The Italian Job Empty The Italian Job

Post by Clockwork Orange Wed Oct 02, 2013 1:15 am

I am sad for football. Italians always had a knack for getting away with their negativity but now they have taken a step to far. In that match we pinned them back in their own half and it brought back memories of Ajax of the 70s dismantling the catenaccio of Inter and Juventus in consecutive European Cup finals. We were robbed by a disease that has plagued football, diving. How is the phoenix supposed to rise from ashes when Italians are making a mockery of the rules. The implementation of Michels treasured tactical theorems was at full strength. The Italians, as usual, will be happy with a point. They seemed to have forgotten their roots. It was Dutch principles that led Milan to two successive European Cups. It was the Dutch trio of Sir van Basten, the indomitable Rijkaard and the powerful Gullit, two of those who where from Ajax's very own youth system that made Milan what they are today. That penalty did was a spit in the face of good football and the lagacy of everything pure about our sport. It is no surprise that it is the current incantation of everything wrong with the modern footballer, Balotelli, that won and converted the penalty.

I shed a tear not for the result, but for history, the eticate of the sport and for Cruijffian tactical theorems.

He shouldnt have been banned. We need a few people from the roots of totaalvoetbal Razz

I completely understand the nature of losing to a mediocre Milan; it just doesnt feel right, but specially not in extra time lol.

Ajax dived as well.

Balotelli on a daily basis gets assaulted by every god damn defender and the ref doesnt care cause Balotelli has a bad rep. Karma, bitch!

Balotelli watched and old tape of Barca vs. Inter, and then took acting courses under the guidance of Sergio Busquets. The results are showing. Good work Mario.

Damn, trolling is fun.. more fun than riding an actual trolleybus.
