GTA: Online

Figured I finally had a working character after loading it up a few times, albeit stuck on the first race mission. But nope, character wiped now.

Thank god that I haven't touched online bar the character creation

78% completed single player. Think I got only 4 or 5 story missions left. Hopefully by the time I'm done, all the issues are fixed. I feel for you guys. Epic fail by Rockstar, shocked at their ineptness. Does anyone have this on 360? Heard things are fine there (what a shock  )

should be fixed now or at least working better

Too busy atm and have hardly touched the single player story ffs

Will probably be a while before I touch GTA Online, and by that time everything should be perfect.

seems like I still cant get past the first race though. Never loads. FML

How long is the tutorial? I got to the bit where there's a TDM I think and it froze.

Think thats the last bit mt where u are, not sure if it counts as finishing the tutorial or not

What strikes me as stupid, is you need to finish the tutorial to play with ur friends, but parts of the tutorial require multiple players. Which means you're essentially relying on people that want to kill you, to team up with you.

Yeh I got tempted to hit a teammate when going to buy clothes and he ended up killing me. Then it took ages to respawn due to that guy in the cloud cutting some weird promo.

meh, gave up, character was there just now, race wasnt loading, reloaded the game, character gone again

It's stupid the game is actually playable (Obviously not the proper finished article by any means) when you get past the first mission

R* really should have fixed that game breaking glitch first, because that's the only thing stopping literally 95% of people who can't get on... from getting on

Unless they're leaving that problem till later on? Perhaps they think it's better that a majority of new players can't play the game whilst they patch the rest up.

One of the missions I did involved two teams getting some package from a dirty cop.

Was absolute mayhem with two teams fighting over the objective and the cops getting involved as well in middle of Los Santos

Another thing which made me laugh was some of the chatter over the mic...

Some bloke said I'm getting off....which was followed by this....hold on I just want to rob this store so I can afford some shoes I got my eye on

Also just won my first tennis match 6-0

I'm on the last mission, gonna do it to tomorrow. Hopefully everything is 100% solved day after tomorrow.

Still can't get past the first race loading.

I tried to log in again today but my character was gone which odd.


Yesterday I was getting the indication that it was saving to the cloud. So it can't be lost perhaps it's just down again.


It was fun as hell because I did some death matches and waited silently outside a clothing store until some other guy (other online player) walked out after I'm assuming got some new clothes and I took him out

Me, Mole and a guy I know have played a lot of GTA today although the other guy left a while ago


Done some crazy shit, done some golf on the rain me and mole both finished 8 or 9 over par ffs

Dat clutch 30 ft putt to tie it up on final hole ffs

But yeah that was great and hardly done a thing yet.

Some more missions, races etc etc to be done when more guys get on.
