Dominating a game, but manage to still lose over a team in its worst form of its entire 2014 cycle.
This is now a Naija Delusion Thread. Couldn't do it with Okocha and West, but think they can do it with Mba and company

Algeria vs Tunisia is set to be great game today. Burkina Faso have a 3-2 first leg advantage, but will be playing with exactly 0 of their supporters away in Algeria due to security measures. Cracking atmosphere guaranteed.

The exact opposite.. quiet crowd.. nothing like in the Egypt game despite Egypt coming into the leg virtually eliminated.Kamikaze692 wrote:Algeria vs Tunisia is set to be great game today. Burkina Faso with the better of the first half.. and not to mention a criminal tackle that deserved two redcards goes unjustifiably unpunished with a simple yellow.
Halftime: Algerie 0-0 Burkina Faso

Re: The Official 2014 Road to Brazil World Cup Qualifying Thread
and why not? Ghana is a very good team, if a player doesn't get a brain fart [a la Gyan style] I can see Ghana being the first African team to make the semis....farfan wrote:you're expecting a quarter final for ghana ? lolCatracho wrote:and I expect the same outcome as 2010 for each one aswell.McAgger wrote:I just realized it's the same 5 African teams that qualified for 2010. what exactly did ghana do to impress you in 2012-2013 ? losing to zambia and barely beating them at home in the qualifiers ? their failure at AFCON 2013 ? ( that was no B team bro , the only notable absentees i can recall were essien and muntari ) thrashing war-tron egypt ?

Re: The Official 2014 Road to Brazil World Cup Qualifying Thread
Farfan exposed for not watching African Futbol. Ghana far and away is currently the best team in Africa.
"Barely beating to Zambia at home" that says enough.
I guess you also forgot, Ayew brothers, Muntari, Essien, and Kevin Prince Boateng all didn't play in AFCON nor did they play these qualifiers till the Zambia game at home and the Egyptian tie where they blasted both teams at home to seal their birth.
You're judging a Ghana squad who played majority of their campaign without their best players, and now with all of them back in the fold, they have no doubt THE BEST MIDFIELD AND ATTACK in Africa.
KPB, Badu, Asamoah, Essien, Wakaso, Waris, Gyan, Atsu, Boakye, Andre Ayew, etc.
This team is going to do more than any other African team regardless of who they draw in their group.
Catracho has spoken.

It's hard to Chile can be included in favorites, just like Colombia after injury of Falcao
Uruguay can reach the semi-finals ... But there will be surprises
