It wasnt even the score either.Natalie Portman wrote:rape is probably an understatement
Like halfway through the first half I stopped(paused the stream actually) and had a long think about whether this Jordanian side could beat ANY squad in CONMEBOL. I really dont think there is a single squad this cycle in south America that Jordan could realistically beat at home....and Considering how badly Paraguay crapped the bed, it is really that bad.
What on Earth was this?
Uruguay has an awful defense, and it is like Jordan didnt even try. That striker, whoever he is, needs to reconsider the choices he has made in life. You dont play the way he did at home.

To be fair, I think Jordan have been punching above their weight already.Betty La Fea wrote:It wasnt even the score either.Natalie Portman wrote:rape is probably an understatement

They weren't even in the equation for 3rd spot of group A, before beating an half-arses almost qualified Japan in Amman...and then their last day win vs. Oman was also a surprise to give them 3rd spot.
Then they were massive underdogs vs Uzbekistan and somehow pulled through with Uzbeks shitting the bed at crucial stage as per usual (Tottenham of Asia are Uzbekistan. always ALWAYS flop when it matters), so even reaching that stage is a massive accomplishment for Jordan and I bet they didn't expect it. They are by no means the 5th best team in Asia...but it was just sad watching the game.
Going down at every opportunity, being scared of their own shadow...embarrassing for AFC really. Just a few days after Blatter saying WC needs more spots for Asia/Africa

LOOOL
Like I said.. this game was over as soon as it was announced AFC would face 5th placed CONMEBOL.
They ran directly into a woodchipper.

I can't believe Uruguay get to play Jordan while we have to play Portugal
European teams should meet any team in any of the continents only that way will it be fair. Seriously either Ibra or Ronaldo will make the WC which is a damn shame because WC need both of them

The Asian teams lost 10-1, what does that tell you about the rest of Asian teams made it?

Re: The Official 2014 Road to Brazil World Cup Qualifying Thread
equal to:
Goalie; Jaoa Pereira-Alves-Pepe-Cacktrao; Meireles-Moutinho-Veloso; Nani-Postiga-Ronaldo????????????
I wish, but no we aren't. we function very good as a team though
judging by our midfield we will play defensive. I don't care how we play honestly as long as we win
Seb and Lustig will man mark Ronaldo while the swedish marcelo ajd Kacaniklic will hopefully offer some sort of creativity on that other side along with Ibra

Both sides have 3 or so really good players each a bunch of fillers elsewhere. You really cant separate the two on paper.

Portugal have Ronaldo, Nani, Moutinho, Cacktrao and Pepe as very good players while we have Ibra and..........
seriously the second best player in our team plays for Norwich lmao. Our cbs play for Genoa, Bologna or some other serie a scrub team and have about 10 international caps between them. What makes our team good though is the work rate of everyone.

Re: The Official 2014 Road to Brazil World Cup Qualifying Thread
Nani and Cacktrao.. two players struggling right now... both at their clubs and NT. I think you're over exaggerating Portugal's side. If it had any true class, it would'nt of tied Israel both home and away and make games like Azerbaijan and Northern Ireland nail biters.halamadrid2 wrote:Portugal have Ronaldo, Nani, Moutinho, Cacktrao and Pepe as very good players while we have Ibra and..........

Elmander
Nilsson
Larsson
Are all comparable to the players you named.
They are good mate. Dont underestimate your nation. Just because they dont have players who ride the bench for the more fashionable sides in Europe does not mean they are less than.
This is a pretty equal match up.
