And here you get a glimpse of the player that is Ozil... has periods of brilliance and then periods where he's nowhere. His defense is a huge problem.

Key is to take full advantage of his periods of brilliance.

I hope Wenger can motivate him to get it going all the time. Work rate is something that Ozil can control... he needs to learn to put in the work.

Aren't that type of players like that ? At the end of the day he did great with 5 potentials assists (2 converted )

Of course i'd like him to improve defensively but as it is right now i'd put a pure destroyer behind him and give him freedom. I don't see him becoming a consistent hard worker defensively speaking.
