Sometimes you need a few minutes to realise if someone is a great footballer or not. Bale is.

Back to the match, we pretty good after the goal. Carvajal was very good. Illarra is different from Xabi, he's more like Busquets.

Isco is incredibly good with the ball, but except that he has nothing on Ozil

speed, passing, skill, vision. ozil is so much better

he would have been in his glee with ronaldo and bale on either side.

i dont think isco knows what to do.

Benzema does nothing
Illaramedi needs time
Pepe+Ramos=0
Benzema is sh!te
Bale is good
Isco is no Ozil but still great
Morata/Jese should play instead of DMzema
Diego Lopez decides to start a world class keeper career at 30yo
Nacho is a good back-up
Khedira should start ahead of Illaramendi or Casemiro, no doubt
Benzema should cut his hair

i agree about carvajal, illara and khedira. Khedira getting credit, about time.

modric is the most consistent player since last season.

we knew this about benzema. he isnt a poacher or a 30 goal a season striker but he still a good player. he likes to play outside or just on the edge of the box, thats where he plays his best football, but with bale and ronaldo occupying that space its difficult for him.

but ronaldo will start to play as a striker i can see it happening. with bale on the left.

benzema is useless. sorry. ive lost faith in him. we should buy lewa and offload him

Varane needs to come back soon, Pepe needs to go.

Also the midfield 3 can't play flat. There has to be one proper DM who will stay in his position. Illarramendi/Khedira kept moving.

Best football??? Well to play there you either have to be creative with great passing and crossing skills, or be a Ronaldo type of player, Benzema is none.

Whenever he tries to pass, he fails, 1/4 dribbles work out for him, Ramos could do a better job at his position.

Or if Ronaldo or Bale are occupying his fav position, then we sold the wrong guy.

Benzema needs to go to the bench. His head just isn't in it.

Pepe + Ramos was dreadful. Nacho is and will forever remain a backup (tbf LB isn't his position though)

Our initial lineup seemed great but there was no "number 10". Isco was always on the left and isolated. Didn't seem like a 4-2-3-1 which is what I thought we were going for.

A midfield of Illara - Modric - Isco turned into a 4-3-3 with no service going to the wings. What's the point of having Bale and Ronaldo play there and switch if we can't get the ball to them to even begin with?
