If we get both Marquinhos and Benatia I wouldn't mind that tbh. We'd have at least CB at our disposal it would give competition to both Pique and Bartra as well as the new signings.

Reading the Roma section it seems that they're taking the Benatia transfer rumors quite seriously. That makes me optimistic.

I saw Mclewis was not even upset about if he left, Mclewis seemed to be upset about some comments he made. Does anyone know about any comments Benatia has made recently about Roma?

Apparently that they are not a big enough club for him and that he doesn't see them rising, judging by that thread. Using Rooney tactics to either get out or get a pay raise.

AS Roma defender Mehdi Benatia (27) has said that he is considering his future at Roma, and thinks that a move would be good for him.

FC Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United have shown interest in roping the 27 year old Moroccan centre-back and are tracking him.

"I had spoken to the club executives regarding an improved contract but they weren't interested and I don't think it will be successful," Benatia said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The offers? My agent is dealing with those but we are talking about it and we will know a little bit more in the near future."

He added: "I'm happy at Roma but at 27 I need to reflect regarding the big offers of clubs that any player dreams of: Barcelona, Bayern, Manchester City."

Incidentally Benatia shares his agent with PSG and Brazil centre back Marquinhos, and reports from Globoesporte claim that FC Barcelona have been in talks with Marquinhos’ agent, and a deal is close.

Benatia has had a fabulous season defensively with Roma, playing 33 matches while winning 64.9 % of his Aerial duels, making 91crucial interceptions and scoring 5 goals including a brace in the club’s 4-0 win against Catania.

Alexis can play both wings and even as a 9.

what i didn't get from tata is he insited that Alexis only played in the right and rarely in the middle when rotating with messi
and pedro strickly stay on the left..
which was odd because for some reason last year sanchez excelled a lot in the left, and pedro is naturally in the right.

TBH this season has been a mess. We will see what happens once a proper structure is introduced. I won't be surprised if Barcelona win another treble if Cesc is sold. The guy just doesn't fit the team. If you don't sell any players that means you have Hallovic, Pedro, Neymar, Alexis, Tello and Deulofeu as wingers.

Hallovic will play for Barca B.

Impossible to make suggestions without knowing how Enrique will want to play. I heard he wanst a defensive rb, a cb, a b2b cm and a striker.

Why Afellay to remain?? we better stop keeping player for no reason ....

i assume because we haven't heard any rumors from him leaving but then again it is still very early.

If you sell Cesc sure, but there's a few names on the table for that spot really.

2 defenders, Ter Stegen, Cesc replacement and a striker would be a good summer imo.

Your opinion on using Deulofeu Mole?

Also, which other names in midfield would you consider?
