Re: Transfer Rumours V4
Many culés watch it when barça wins madrid or a title. It has even been share leader in Catalunya when barça wins. I can't stand it even then.

I also watch it almost everyday, as harhar, its just for the lulz.extremely biased show, but then again this program just portraits spanish sports journalism.

Nah, in sweden. But you can see it on youtube.free_cat wrote:Many culés watch it when barça wins madrid or a title. It has even been share leader in Catalunya when barça wins. I can't stand it even then.

I understand how you aren't able to watch the show. Even I have problem watching the show sometimes. But it has it's funny moments, especially now with Francois Gallardo with his haircut and his eyeglasses

Would be nice if Zubi visited Porto, London, anywhere in South America....no, actually, anywhere...to finalize negotiations with a defender.

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
what do you guys think of lewandowski ever being in the team.
probably unlikely and we wont even try but seeing as he is going to be very cheap, maybe even free. he is a good overall striker and his height (1.84 m) would be a nice change.
I'm aware if we were ever to get him we'd have to sell one of sanchez and pedro maybe even Tello but still what are your opinions?

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
Dude has Bayerns balls mad deep in his grill. Won't even bother discussing him as he only has Bayern in mind
What do you guys think of Rafinha and Deulofeu? Rafinha is racking a nice season. But will he ever realistically fit in with us? Deulofeu needs to start to brake out sooner or later. He has a real chance of getting Tello sold next year since he isn't doing much this campaign and landing the spot behind Neymar if he manages to string some impressive performances together (which haven't happened)
With JDS being Xavis back up, and before him Thiago....and now JDS is injured for the season and Thiago with Bayern....what do you guys think will happen? Reckon we attempt to sign a CM this winter? Not a big name, just some one good enough to back up in the smaller games for a few mins (JDS role basically)

Hard to believe we can convince Lewa that it would be better to come and be a supersub type player for us when he can start for Bayern.

He is starting for Atletico. He wouldn't start for us. Would be a bad move for him right nowWinter is Coming wrote:Oliver Torres!windkick wrote:Dude has Bayerns balls mad deep in his grill. Won't even bother discussing him as he only has Bayern in mind

Alex Song brah. Already a tried and tested CB in his Arsenal days. The Franchise wrote:Would be nice if Zubi visited Porto, London, anywhere in South America....no, actually, anywhere...to finalize negotiations with a defender.

- Which is probably why Wenger moved him to DM, and then to CM
Re: Transfer Rumours V4
"If Lewandowski leaves, we would prefer him to join Barcelona rather than Bayern Munich,” the Gabonese international (Aubameyang) told beIN Sport
hmm what do you guys think of this? It seems Barcelona must made some sort of contact with Dortmund about Lewy.

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
I said it above, I wouldn't doubt it as he might be free, Tata loves playing Messi on the right wing vs big teams, we could use a real striker in the middle instead of Cesc, and Neymar on the left.

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
I don't personally rate Lewandowski as much as the rest of this forum. Sure, he has a good physique and does score some great goals but for me he is not consistent enough to be called a world class CF. Also I think he's quite one dimensional.
Re: Transfer Rumours V4
one dimensional or not, I prefer anyone at this point at CF then Cesc.
him being free should be a good incentive, we could sell him in the future for clear profit.
the problem with that is we will need to sell 2 of Sanchez, Pedro, Tello, which should already be a priority with Deulofeu and Cuenca coming back we will have way too many wingers.

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
He has good work rate, helps out in pressuring opponent, does track back at times, and has an eye for goal as well. His height and strength in the box would be good for Neymar/Messi crosses, or Xavi/Iniesta passes as well.

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
Its irrelevant what we or Aubameyang wants.
Dortmund seem fine with him leaving for free rather than selling him in the summer or Jan and then it comes down to the players decision.
And as I already said, why would he want to come and be a bit part player for us when he can start for Bayern?

Isn't he going to be a bit part player at BM also? He's going to rival with Mandzukic. The Franchise wrote:Its irrelevant what we or Aubameyang wants.

Guardiola told reporters after the game: "With his ability to head the ball inside the penalty area, Mandzukic is the best forward in the world."
Seem Pep rates him pretty high and don't really see him dropping him unless tactical reason. Gotze/Muller/Robben can all play false 9 roles, which I can see Pep using from time to time. The only thing I can see is if Pep sticks with big man forward, but that would still mean a lot of rotating between the two, one if not both won't be too happy. We also need to keep in mind, Thiago, Shaq, Martinez all are going to want time, as well.
He may have a bit more of a role with BM, then us, but it depends on Tata tbh. If he's really looking for a 9, then he obviously must have a plan. i can see him bring back the side of 08/09, well at least I hope

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
No, he is much better than him. Mandzukic would be his back up. Obviously, I cant be 100% sure of that, it depends on performance. But no question he will play a bigger role at Bayern.
Pep is waffling, he said Lahm can play striker and Messi can play centerback. When he was out of work he said Falcao is the best striker in the world inside the box. Cant take what he says seriously.
And Messi cant play on the wing anyway, he will get upset because he wants to play middle and he wont track back.

Re: Transfer Rumours V4
True enough. I do believe Pep over exaggerated often, but in a way I see his point in what he's trying to say. At times theres are things he says to motivate his players, or give them confidence. I don't recall him saying CB, but as a left back in Messi case. The Franchise wrote:No, he is much better than him. Mandzukic would be his back up. "Messi wins the ball playing as the false No.9. If you put him at left-back, he would be just as good. He is the best defender in the world," Guardiola told reporters.
I guess that would be the main problem handing over some else the centre role instead of Messi.
