one of Pedro or Sanchez would leave, and two of the youngsters should leave.
I'd rather keep Sanchez and Deulofeu but realistically I don't see the club ever selling Pedro unless PSG or another oil club comes calling with a big bag of cash.

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell is confident that Andres Iniesta will end his career with the club.

The Spain international has been holding contract extension talks in recent weeks but is yet to reach an agreement with the Spanish champions.

But Rosell appears unperturbed by the delay, hinting that a bumper new deal will eventually be signed.

"Iniesta will end his career at the club," Rosell told Cadena SER. "If I had to bet on his future, I would do so on that.

"We believe he should be the second-highest salary behind Messi."

Barca are still on the hunt for a new goalkeeper, with current no.1 Victor Valdes set to run out his contract next summer, and rumours that a move for Thibaut Courtois could be in the pipeline have been fuelled by the president's praise of the Chelsea shot-stopper, who is spending his third season on loan at Atletico Madrid.

"Courtois is a keeper that I really like - he is very good," he added.

Barcelona have made a perfect start to the new Liga season, winning all eight of their matches to date, and resume their campaign with a trip to Osasuna on October 19.

So according to the newspapers today we are in the market for a 'Larsson' to diversify attacking options. Klose, Samaras, Valdez, Trezeguet and Santa Cruz the names being thrown around.

Samaras is pretty good and not a old man like the rest tbf, but still.

Larson was like 30-31 when we got him, these guys are coming up to 40.

Larsson was actually 33 when we signed him.

Klose and Trez probably no more than 2. Valdez and Cruz arent good enough, Cruz is also pretty old.

I'd be extremely surprised if Draxler could play on the right honestly.

Also playing him in the centre is a utter waste of his talents.

He's not something Barca need and he doesn't really suit how you play anyway.

He's 20 ffs, can improve a lot his passing and cision. And he can play on the right and suut us. He's no speed merchant like reus.

Draxler is a fantastic dribbler but his passing, vision and intelligence will probably never be up to the level you will need it to be.

Yeah calling Reus a speed merchant is a huge overstatement in my opinion.

Trezeguet would be a crazy move, he's more injury prone than Kaka, albeit he's a fantastic professional and an example to any young players. But I don't think our squad is lacking in leadership.

As always my choice of a plan b CF is Klose.

It was an overstatement because people always say Reus wouldn't work for us because he is only suited to counter attacking, while Draxler isn't.

Draxler is very good in passing and vision for his age . He is 20, remember?

Zúñiga? He is a typical 3-5-2 wing back. You wouldn't be playing him to his strengths in a 4-man defence. Unless Barcelona want to switch to 3-5-2, I don't see where he else could play that Barcelona don't already have a better player in that position.

Balanta ain't worth €15 million. He had a top match against Boca a year ago and the gallinas hyped him to death. Fair to say he was exposed last week. €10 million max and he'd still be quite a gamble.

Do you think ter Stegen will go to Barca in the summer? There are more and more rumours about this transfer... Last says that Barcelona will pay for him only 10m euro, I hope that Borussia will get at least several million more...

He is but he jumps high and can be quite aggressive with his heading.

Rumours were that pepe reina wanted to come to barca and that barca are quite ahead in the negotiations with ter stegen so chances are either of the 2 gk's would be coming to barca and i would rather prefer ter stegen. In the January transfer window i hope that the barca booard gets really aware that not signing any CB was disastrous for us when we face some tough teams in CL where it gets proved how that we really need to get a decent CB.

I haven't seen much of Ter Stegen but regarding Courtois I'm not so sure about his footwork and general commanding ability. And since he's a Chelsea player they will for sure ask a lot of money for him.

Guy is so overrated, I really hope we look another way.

Dont think we need 2 goalies either, Masip deserves a chance, he has performed remarkably well. Only doubt is his height (but he is only 2cm smaller than Valdes actually) plus it would be a step up so you cant completely rely on him.

But him plus another (not Reina or Courtois) and we should be good.

Yeah Rosell said he is a fan of Curtois. I feel that with Curtois, Ter Stegen, and Guaita all approaching their last year of contract we are spoilt for value choices, and I think Akinfeev's contract finishes this June as well.I haven't really seen that much of Akinfeev and Ter Stegen, but would prefer Guaita (or even Diego Alves) to Curtois.

Yeah the GK situation seems pretty good. I would definitely take Ter Stegen for 8m euros based on what I hear of him (have only watched him a couple times).

Would be happy with Guaita as well.
