Undersoil heating
Can u explain me more about its function?? It will be used to dry up when the pitch overwhelmed with the rain water or something…..so what the next step, is the grass would be on place above it??
Apa khabar mas? The undersoil heating heats the underside of the pitch to avoid any bad weather, such as snow and ice, from building up and ultimately helps the club avoid having to postpone any matches. Most probably they will place the grass soon.
Khabar baik... yes and now we start to see that they put soil over the net and i think the green grass is coming soon....

Yeah why can't they just have iron bars like the San Siro or English stadia. That is much more appealing...

It is definitely strong enough for that.
the glass is likely like Hockey plexiglass, it can take 100mph pucks with ease...so football will be nothing

Re: Juventus New Stadium Thread.
The start of season 2011/12 is drawing ever nearer. It promises to be a historic campaign for Juventus, who will play inside their new stadium for the very first time. Along with the start of season ticket sales (see news), intensive works are continuing inside the stadium. All proceeding as previously planned.
Great strides have been made in the last few weeks. Both inside and outside the structure.
In particular, the pitch has been a subject of great attention. The implementation of several systems, for drainage, irrigation and under soil heating, has been concluded. At the moment, the laying of the pitch – with sand, silt and clay - is taking place. For the completion of this step, the turf will be laid by the end of July.
The stands are also beginning to take shape. All the seats on the first level have been put in, with workers already focusing on the second level.
In the meantime, the internal furnishings of the stadium are being installed. The dressing rooms are being fitted out, along with the media section and the Tribuna 100 area. Works are due to move on to the platform area within the next few days.
Outside of the structure, the ‘stars’ to represent the 50 Bianconeri legends are beginning to be put in place. Alongside the legends are also the stars purchased by supporters through the ‘Light a Star’ initiative. The project is still ongoing, for more information, click here.
In terms of urbanisation, the works begun in the last few months (renovation of the junction in Venaria and completion of car parks) are continuing to proceed. In particular, Car Park 1 has already been completed, while Car Parks 2 and 3 are being finalised.

I have read that it is infact not the same as Hockey plexiglass, but a glass that is more suitable for outdoor conditions. The chances of it shattering are 0 really....
Re: Juventus New Stadium Thread.
Season tickets went on sale as of yesterday, 2000 were sold on the first day alone. Absolutely unheard of, it usually takes 1-2 weeks to reach that milestone...
Long way to go yet but a good start.

Re: Juventus New Stadium Thread.
Its because you need a new star like Aguero or Rossi, those will help to sell tickets!

Re: Juventus New Stadium Thread.
I'm kinda skeptical about the distance form the stands to the pitch. Bearing in mind the concrete distance space.

Re: Juventus New Stadium Thread.
These are the results of the Ultras meeting:
- The "fighters" ultra recently known by "Tradizione" return to the curva sud like they've been for so many years . And with this return the fighters will lead the curva sud or what is know by curva Scirea
- the Staduim is divided to two floors and the number of the seats on the lower floor is more than the upper one.
knowing the place that Ultras hold in italian footbaal, the juve management set 15000 seats in the curva sud to gather all of the ultras to preserve the staduim.
- the lower floor, will be occupied by the following Ultras
Fighters - Nucleo 1985 - Viking ; and it's branches known and unkown.
And on the top floor will be occupied by the flollowing Ultras.
Drughi - Bravi Raggazzi - Drughi Megenta
And its branches, known and unknown .
- The lower floor of the curva nord will be left to Centro Juventus Club following the request of the manangement to the ultras.
and the upper floor will be occupied by :
Viking Milano - Nucleo Armata Bianconera

Re: Juventus New Stadium Thread.
Work on Juve's new stadium brought to a temporary halt yesterday afternoon after an unexploded WW2 bomb was discovered on the site.
