Looks like Sanmartean seams like the real deal in Liga I. I already saw him with Panathinaikos but that was a while ago. Looks like he's still good, though, so that's good to hear.

I'm really liking Gardos, btw.

Back in my days (when East European teams were big deal) we heard only about Steaua and Dinamo. In recent times heard about Cluj few times. What's the deal with Ploiesti and Petrolul!!!

While Steaua stays in the equation is very good... for me, at least   
Petrolul is the city hall team of Ploiesti. They are the holders of Romanian Cup and finished last year on a honorable 3rd place.
Their coach is Cosmin Contra.
Also, they have among the most fanaticals fans in the country and a pretty nice new stadium.


In the summer, in Europa League they eliminated Vitesse Arnhem and were eliminated by Swansea.

Key players for Petrolul: Filipe Texeira, Ovidiu Hoban (from NT), Geraldo Alves, Juan Ángel Albin and Adrian Mutu.
