Juve to target Marquinho?

Roma midfielder Marquinho could be on his way to Juventus this summer, if reports in the Italian Press are to be believed.

Sky Sport Italia claim that the Bianconeri have enquired about the Brazilian and could make a move before the transfer window closes.

The 27-year-old has struggled at the capital club since arriving from Fluminense last year. He played 26 times in the League last term, but 15 of those appearances were as substitute.

The playmaker had been linked with a move back to his home country, but Sky insist that Antonio Conte’s men could try and persuade him to stay in Serie A.

Also, we have enough average scrubs. Especially in midfield. What a waste of a few million. I'd rather take that £5,000,000 or so and invest it in scouts and helping youth.

I like padoin tbh... he is a hard worker.
But I prefer kolarov over this romanista. I heard the commentator that day saying conte wants kolarov.

i think modifications needs to be made in the word scrub

like say Padoin and PDC are not in the same league, s if Padoin = scrub

No he isn't. PDC has been kept well away from the squad despite playing in a position we've lacked quality in for years.

I'm not saying Padoin is that good. But defensively better than PDC. Better at passing, equally hard working and the only thing I'd give PDC the edge over is with his crossing. And even then his crossing is vastly overrated.

PDC has great cross and he is always on target. Padoin is good in attack and in defense he is not a scrub but a great squad player to have

Why are you comparing PDC with Padoin, Padoin has versatility and covers several positions. PDC is a leftback through and through, and not a great one but he is a pre-season wonder. Absolutely.

PDC will win an Oscar for his portrayal of Steve Jobs...

He should focus on acting and retire as a footballer...

I love PDC tbh... He really deserved better, but his injury few seasons ago destroyed his carrear and and abilities. He was much faster before. I cant forget that 4-2 match for him vs milan. PDC is a pure juventino, why force him out of Juve?
Padoin is a hard worker, I prefer him over isla!

It doesn't matter if he loves Juve or not. Getting all sentimental over below average players is what keeps you back. If you want to improve the team you identify weak spots and improve them, whilst getting the lesser players off of the wage bill.
