How reliable are they sports? Or they equivalent to the Daily Mail? Sad

Regardless, Mr Ayre has to try and sign both of Sakho and Eriksen before the window shuts. They're both on their last year contracts, so it won't be hard! Especially if they're both keen in moving. :X

I've been so far in the opinion that we're good in defence now, CBs Skrtel Agger Toure Wisdom and Kelly, but if signing a CB would mean a good loan for Wisdom then I'm all for signing one as it would be the best for Wisdom to play regularly.

Another sensible target besides Yarmolenko would be Chelsea's Victor Moses, imo. He wasn't even on the bench against Aston Villa, but is a good, youngish player with a direct style of play that gets some goals.

Papadopolous apparently went down with another knee injury in training today for Schalke. Can we get an "I guess BR was right" in here?

Edit: I should also say that I hope he gets better soon, always sad to see talented young guys get injury problems.

It would've been better if we sign someone like Eriksen instead/also but I don't have problems any with him focusing on a position that does indeed need strengthening instead of spending incessant money on someone not required.

If we do land up Sakho, this would be the best summer transfer window for me in a long time.

P.S. I think this will be Hendo's year.

If Skrtel stays, I hope we sign only a low-cost 4th choice CB and let Agger Skrtel Toure fight it out for those starting spots. If Skrtel leaves then go on and bring in a monster CB.

But damn, this complete radio-silence - i.e. no rumours - is getting on my nerves at this point. I just dread the possibility of us signing something we don't need.
