According to RMC Sport, Arsenal are going to make a €17m offer for Yohan Cabaye in the coming days. The player is training with his team mates unlike some English reports were saying. Newcastle are likely to accept the offer.

The only reason we did not lose a player this summer is bcoz we no longer have any sale-able player in the side (maybe except Santi and he has a big contract). Next season when Barca will need a CB they will come sniffing after Koscielny, the french pair may come for Santi.

Wenger is right in saying we have a good bunch of players in the team. But simple mathematics is against him. You cannot go into a 50+ game season with only 16 first team players.

He was going to be signed regardless since Sevilla desperately needed defensive cover.

Kondogbia could very well be on his way to Monaco since they seem to be the only club willing to pay the full release clause and the taxes that come with it. Arsenal aren't and you can't blame them. I wouldn't pay €20mil+ for a 20 year old.

The papers are warming up for the crazy week ahead.

The Mirror and Telegraph are both running stories that Mesut Oezil, Angel di Maria and Karim Benzema will all be available to transfer once Madrid sign Gareth Bale. The Mirror reckons Madrid have offered Benzema to us, while The Telegraph say that we're ready to bid £60mil for Oezil and di Maria.

The Guardian say that Mathieu Flamini held talks with us for an hour on Monday, with his agent, Darren Dein () present. They say he should be signed up soon.

The Times claim our next bid for Yohan Cabaye will be around £15mil, and that our backup options should we not get him are Gareth Barry, Morgan Schneiderlin and Joshua Guilavogui.

6 days and we've signed Sanogo, and Nedelev for the exact amount we could've used to sign Mata all those times ago. €3m...add an additional €2m we could've bought David Villa ffs.

These £3m here and £2m there adds up, you know. The same money we spend on these kids (who'll eventually get released) could well go towards a much, much better player

We're not looking at CB's anymore. Vermaelen looks closer to come back and Sagna will be our 4th choice CB. We're set there.

We're far from set, we could easily end up in a situation where we have NO CB's, we need depth.

Sakho & Cesar are right there ffs instead this guys trying to get another Arteta.

That rarely happens and if it happens there's nothing you can do about it. You can't have 5 CB's and keep everyone happy, unless you want another Squillaci or Silvestre.

We definitely need a better keeper if we're serious about a title challenge. If we just want to maintain we can get by with Szczesny, but he will make mistakes this year if he continues to be first choice.

Absolutely can't believe we haven't signed Cesar tbfh.

I cant blame GK much if he dont get the protection he should get. I think once Mert and Kos play few more games together they will protect Szczesny better and also we need a DM.

The midfield doesn't play good enough defensively to help our back line, which puts them out of position, which creates tom many opportunities, any GK would look bad at Arsenal right now.
