Who is the better prospect?
Bale v Aubameyang
Who's the better prospect? Who will be the better player by the end of the year?
Forget the madness of transfer pricing and shirt sales

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
seriously... do you expect someone to say Aubameyang?? What's next Kondogbia vs Schweinsteiger?

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
We'll see at the end of the season. Aubameyang had 19 goals and 9 assists as a winger last season in 36 games and he has 3 goals in 2 games for Dortmund this year... by the end of this season, he's going to be recognized.
And having watched both... Aubameyang plays LW, RW and CF with ease (already has played both LW and RW for Dortmund). No left foot or right foot issue. A very complete player. He is faster than Bale too... so really, other than the big shot, i don't see Bale being better at anything.
He's not even French so don't say that i'm biased because i'm not here.

Not the same really.Ion Creanga wrote:seriously... do you expect someone to say Aubameyang?? What's next Kondogbia vs Schweinsteiger?
Kondogbia been big for like 1 season, was in Ligue 2 before that I think. Schweinsteiger been at the same high level for 4-5.
Bale and Aubameyang been at their current level a similar amount of time.

I think Bale and it's not close, but I think RWO brings up an important point. At Dortmund a player is still largely a prospect and can develop and blossom into a great player. If you go to the white house there is no development, because for what they pay you are expected to already have all the tools.
Going to be awesome when Spurs buy Bale back for 30 million

Bale is by far the more complete player at this stage. PEA trades completely on his pace. Bale is different because his speed is complemented by passing, shooting, and decision-making ability that PEA doesn't have.

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
You obviously haven't been watching Bale pass (or dribble and shoot for that matter ) this season.... it's 50/50 he hits you with pass if it's wide open and more than 5 meters away.

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
form is temporary....i haven't followed aubameyang's career, prior to dortmund but for whoever is familiar with him, how was his football/skill-set/technique prior to joining dortmund? because some of those dortmund boys have a history of not living up to expectations when they leave klopp for other clubs. its like klopp's system makes them look better than they actually are

It seems impossible to praise or criticise a player on this forum without going all out like an absolute fool. Neither of you seem to understand that when a person says, for example, "player X is better than player Y at passing", it does not mean that player X is the greatest passer of all time. It seems self-explanatory, I know... yet I find myself writing it here.
Every single time on this forum, the response is always "you obviously haven't seen him... yada, yada, yada." You see, a simple comment, such as "I don't think Bale's passing is better than PEA's passing" will suffice. There's no need to beat 1 player into the ground to make the other look better. Furthermore, notice that the last example comment actually relates to the topic of the thread because it is a comparison between the two players in the title. Criticising Bale on its own actually adds nothing of worth to this discussion.

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
Actually. I'm not saying that Auba's passing is better... it's equally unpredictable. My only point that both players are very, very predictable in what they can and can't do. If plan A fails, there's no plan B.
Bale has the better long range shot and crosses better. Auba is much better at playing a central striker role and doing the needed things for that position if asked. Bale is the better player in comparison... but they're not that far apart. I don't like either tbh.

I'm not saying that forza, but just keep in mind these are two headless chickens and any decision making bale has over PAB shouldnt even be taken into consideration, since they both suck at it. both players are almost the same. i will admit though that bales shooting technique is world class

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
Lets bring this in to the equation first:
Who scored in a CL final?
Who won the CL?
Once you bring these two in to it, he answer gets obvious.

Re: Bale v Aubameyang
I don't think you can put the CL final thing as decider as it depends more on the club reaching the final first and not so much on the player scoring in it (especially when the club has more decisive players where goals are concerned).
Otherwise one could also ask in other settings about players "who scored in a world cup final?" or "who scored in a Euro final?"

Nice to know Juliano Belletti was better than Totti. Learn something new everyday here.

Baros is legit when you get a good big lad like Koller who can flick it around the corner for him.
