Is Lloris the best keeper in PL?

Lloris is consistent as hell... what he does every week for Tottenham is ridiculous. Tottenham without Lloris in the NLD would have been awful. Lloris is the GOAT here simply for having to clean up behind the likes of Dawson.

The Problem with Keepers is that they take most of the blame for conceding,while defenders take less.

Lloris was amazing against Arsenal. Proving his world-class ability.

Lloris, Cech and De Gea are the only ones in this discussion really.

Then you have a big group of GKs who are very good but not on their level like Begovic, Mignolet, Chesney, Guzan, Hart and Krul ( if he can f*cking stay fit ffs)

Meh, even as a Spurs fan I think Mignolet is above all of them.

Last night was, by far, the worst game of his career. I think he was victim of alien abduction... only plausible explanation Thank gawd Ribery saved his arse.

Damn he got battered today, obviously not all the goals were his fault but still doesn't really help confidence.

1 bad game every 6 months compared to brilliant games throughout doesn't affect anything...  remember that he had allowed a league low 6 goals in 11 starts prior to this game.  

The Spurs lines were all over the place.  Nobody was fighting for anything.  A couple of clearances were poor obviously that created chances... but Lloris always made the first save (several of them brilliant).  Yet City managed to get an uncontested rebound every time.  That's not on him.  Back 4 has to recover and cover everyone else when the keeper is going one-on-one.  If the keeper makes the save, there's no excuse to leave people uncovered.

Yeah, everyone is entitled to a bad game. Sad though, he buried his team down 2-0 away and just completely took the spirit out of the side. Sad to see it happen on back to back match days, but even the elite have bad days.

The key is how Lloris and Spurs pick themselves up from this. We got stomped like this last year in the first North London Derby and we came back stronger for it.

De Gea has been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League for the past year or so.

Lloris is good, but he's not as good as some people make him out to be. He's not the best keeper in the league.

To be fair, Szczesny is on ridiculous form right now. He's back to the levels he was pre-Euro's and that was quite good.

Personally, I think his drop in form was a result of the ridiculous penalty he gave up in the first game of the Euro's and it just destroyed him mentally as he wasn't the same player after that.

If AVB loses his job in the next few weeks I don't think it'd be an understatement to say that Lloris played a key role in that.

looooooooool.  You guys have no idea how many times Lloris has saved Spurs' arse this year... let alone most of last year.  Two errors aren't going to change that. You don't even watch spurs more than 4-5 times a year.. so how would you know. It's like saying Ribery wasn't the best player on Bayern

Two errors? the guy's been a walking comedy act since the beginning of the season. It's only been overlooked due to incompetent referees and strikers not punishing him for it
