Is Lloris the best keeper in PL?

This lad is really incredible.

Cech is brilliant, but i would pick Lloris ahead of him.

He's a top 3 keeper in Europe:

1. Neuer
2. Lloris
3. Cech
4. Courtouis
5. Buffon(one of the most overrated keepers, still top 5)

Which stats do you use when you rank keepers? How many goals they concede? Saves?

No he's not!!

I would put Mignolet and Lloris as the best keepers in the league. If I had to choose I would take Mignolet over Lloris, but it's not a significant difference in quality.

Obviously, Cech is right there with them on his best days.

Easily. LLoris is the best GK in Europe for me. Been saying this for over a year.

Agreed with Lloris #1 but Cech comes close second.

Yep, for me he is the best.

His shot stopping, handling and ability at crosses is up there with Cech or whoever. He keeps his errors to a minimum and I think what takes him over the top is he is superior to Cech with his feet and seems better (not that Cech is weak at it) at coming out to sweep behind a high line.

Mignolet and Begovic are top keepers. Moto's isn't far fetched at all. People are so used just hyping the big name goalkeepers that whenever someone else breaks through they never give them enough cred.

True but neither are as good as Lloris or as talented as him.

The only ones who should be in this discussion is De Gea, Lloris and Cech if he can get his form back.

Oh shame on me, I forgot De Gea...he's up there..though I still want to go with Lloris, just.

Lloris is absolutely amazing. I do think he's one of the best in Europe and I think he's the best in the Premier League. I can think of only one, maybe two errors he made last year at Tottenham and both were at the beginning of the season when he was still learning English/adapting to the EPL game and he didn't have a consistent run in the Spurs side yet. Since then he's been nothing short of a miracle man for Tottenham.

As Dani said, sweeping up behind a high line is great, he's pretty good with his feet, and his shot stopping is second to none. One of his best attributes I think is his command of the box, the first thing I ever noted about him.

Either way, he's amazing for Tottenham and I hope he doesn't want to leave. If he does want to leave, I'd be prepared to pay 25+ million pounds for him to come to Barca.

Lloris is top3 in the world IMO. Better than Neuer for sure.

OH yeah I'm definitely not saying those guys are the best in PL but the fact that Abromovich's surprised comment disrespected Mignolet a bit I thought I should say something.

It's between Cech and Lloris. De Gea's has a huge hole in his game with crosses and corners. I think De Gea as a shot stopper is probably better than both, but the other two are more complete.

De Gea, really? I can see the talent, but he's not there yet. With Fergie gone I actually think he's fairly safe in the position given how much Moyes likes consistency in the goal keeping position.

Cech can shut a game down on his own, which is the only reason I rate him so highly even though his consistency within the league isn't what it used to be. Chelsea would never of gotten to or won the Champions League without him carrying Chelsea.

When was the last time De Gea conceded a goal due to poor handling from crosses and corners? i can't remember.

His all round game is nowhere near as bad it was, hell he's been flykicked by Andy Carroll and still held on to the ball lol.

Lets not live in the past De Gea is a totally different beast now and that isn't even a hole in his game anymore.

For me Cech is no. 1.

Then comes Lloris, De Gea, Begovic, Mignolet, Hart in that order.

Hart is the most overrated player in the entire league.

He's still making mistakes that Krul cut out of his game two years ago.

Now Krul is nowhere near any of the other guys mentioned but it just shows how overrated Hart is.

Complete liability.

De Gea is even better than Lloris.

He had an average season last year and I can hardly remember any match saving performances by him.

It's a shame that head injury and dip in form happened to Cech. Seems like its impossible for him to regain his previous rep.

Hopefully Jose's return changes that.

It's funny how we were the only two that didnt believe the hype.

It's clear he had potential at Birmingham but he's stagnated or even declined these past couple of years.

Increasingly error prone and you won't see a worse distributor of the ball.

I am confident in saying that Cech would have surpassed Buffon at his peak before that head injury. He was ridiculous. One of the best GKs I have seen in my lifetime

I am impressed with his game reading ability, he always seems to be making correct decisions every time I see him. Specially he did extremely well to take over from the previous keeper of spurs.
I am not in a position to compare three names being discussed here. I am not sure how to reason out Neuer<Lloris. Neuer is Neuer, no one is like him there. Did it just rhyme..
Btw, Mignolet has to still prove himself over a long period of time for a club like liverpool but surely he has the ability to do it.

In the space of 1 confed cup tournament Buffon's went from arguably the best to barely in peoples top 10-20
