After TD1, there was an outrage of no female characters. TD2 had whats her face as lead actress. Neither of season 1 or 2 had any strong black characters. TD3 will have that in it.

It's like complaining about a film set in the 70s and before and complaining about racism. Do you want it to be true to the story they are telling or not lol?

Sure it's not nice but that's how things were, to lie about it and not confront it as a medium is worse than being overly PC.

Nic Pizzolato don't give a shit about anyone other than him and his story. I highly doubt that's why they had a female lead.

Don't think there'll be another season after a lot hated the second. He's also supposed to produce Galveston soon I think. Hope it gets made.

What pisses me off most is that every little thing that is said is debated. Like men have to be so careful now of what they say in public, social media, etc because the slightest thing will be analysed. And now we have to change our vocabulary and the manner in which we've been talking for centuries.

All that matters is that women should be respected more (Most already do respect women, it's just some assholes who have issues who don't). Get more opportunities in jobs where men are more prominent (but based on merit and qualifications of course) and lessen the difference in the wage gap. And women should understand that there's a reason why we're male and they're female, because there should be a difference in species and of the way things are done! There'll always be a few things which men will be better at and vice versa, and things a few things that are expected more from women.

My first comments were excessively negative because I didn't like the final , probably I hoped in a different final .. but I reevaluated T2 then , despite I feel was sometimes a wasted potential . Some characters, or scenes could be valued better than it imo.
anyway the TD2s songs were great imo , the only thing better than TD1, very appreciated by me.

Haven't seen all of Deadwood. But never heard a bad thing about it. He wrote it all by himself basically.

Yea deadwood always got high praise. Think few here watched it too?

I think 2 years of absence must have done good on them to realise what went wrong in season 2. Really hope it doesn't cast 20 stars for 8 episodes. But they also shouldn't try too hard to replicate season 1 because that's impossible.

S1 was just unbelievable

S2 was way too rushed, had glimpses of awesome stuff in it, but stupidly put together. I imagine they won't/can't afford to make the same mistake twice.

Deadwood is *bleep* amazing.

On TD i absolutely adored season 1, actually binge watched it all the way through which i rarely do because i have bad attention spans when it comes to TV series.

Didn't watch Season 2 even though i have both on Blu Ray because of the rep it got.

I'd still watch it, still a 7.5/10 Imo with some great moments. It's just a convoluted mess compared to S1 but then again if I compared most tv shows to S1 i'd be disappointed again and again.

Season 2 was decent. Just couldn't live up to Season 1 since it was fairly rushed. Had some good moments and was well shot.
