Finally some bit of action. Just what it needed to coincide with the very intriguing story.

Some dope dialogue and lines again.
Marty: "You are like the Michael Jordan of being a son of a b*tch."
And McCounaghey talking about the Oscar in this episode. Knowing he'll probably soon get his hands on it. Proud

lol. Actually re-watched the last 20 minutes again. I'm struggling to think of a better shot sequence in television history. Absolutely craps on anything Breaking Bad, The Shield, The Wire has ever done. Also, what makes it more incredible is that that entire sequence was done in one single take according to the director, with no cuts. That's insane. Reminded me of Michael Mann's stuff.

Best part of this episode for me was the discussion between Rust and Maggie. how Rust got mad at the end and the look on Maggie's face.

Woody and Matthew are absolutely killing it. Best show of 2014 so far.

Rust fickin Cole.

The pace switch was too intense. Show went from winding philosophical conversations and drama to possibly the best action sequence ever seen on TV in about ten seconds.

Only 4 episodes in and it's already my 2nd favorite show of all time after Game of Thrones.

1. GoT
2. True Detective
3. House of Cards
3. Justified
3. Breaking Bad

Rustin Cohle is possibly the greatest character on television history. The pace switch was magnificent. Some of the dialogue was majestic. No other superlatives to even describe that. Can't wait ffs.

Watched first two episode to see how it is, it's a bit slow for me but i'm interested.

btw why no one told it contains nudity lol. was watching it with my brother. :facepalm:
