NT-friendlies are official, as they are regulated by FIFA. Club friendlies, exhibition matches etc. are not.Beautiful Football wrote:Messi never scored 3 or more in a official(Competitive) Match For NT.Official Friendly match doesn't count.Harmonica wrote:23 times 3 or more with Barcelona in official games.

Re: 'The Messiah' - Lionel Messi V.2
"I can only repeat what I have already said before and that is that Messi is the best in the world at the moment. It pains me to admit it, but it's the simple truth," Guti told Punto Pelota.
"I am not saying that Messi is on another level than Cristiano, though. But he's more decisive at certain moments when the team really needs him. He can salvage a game by himself.
"They are arguably the two best players in the world, but when it comes to my personal preference I must admit that I like Messi more."

Re: 'The Messiah' - Lionel Messi V.2
Asperger Syndrome defines a type of person who grows up with a certain shyness. Romario, a former player and now federal politician in Brazil, says that Messi suffers from the syndrome, although in his case, the consequences have all been positive.
"It’s a mild form of autism, which allows sufferers to focus and concentrate better than others," Romario the former Barcelona striker tweeted.
Romario also tweeted how the positive effects of this syndrome allegedly help the Argentine’s game. “Newton and Einstein also had a certain level of autism. I hope that like them, Messi surpasses himself every day and continues giving us his beautiful brand of football," he said.

Romario suffers from a syndrome known as idiocy
He had no right to tweet that.

Diego MARADONA (04.11.2008 - 27.07.2010): 16 apps, 3 goals + 5 assists = 0,50 (G+A)/Game

Re: 'The Messiah' - Lionel Messi V.2
Sure, Sabella, Guardiola's "advice" to Sabella, Messi captaincy all have probably helped, and some of it is just natural development and familiarity with the Argentine's.

Just look at the clock, the dribble and determination.
There is just no words to describe such ability.

It's funny how the defenders just can't foul him, he just steamrolls everything. It's like an exact opposite of Neymar who falls from every touch.

Re: 'The Messiah' - Lionel Messi V.2
what surprises me is how he beat the second man on the second goal....he released the ball on the right of the defender but beat him on the left, something difficult in small space on the run....Harmonica wrote:

Thanks to alexis for not wasting it, otherwise such a great assist would go uncredited....

Messi could have scored it himself but glad he released not taking any selfish blame....Neymar on the other hand should not try to pass again.....Harmonica wrote:

Re: 'The Messiah' - Lionel Messi V.2
Comparing Messi in open space to Neymar with his back to the defender smh.
Obviously Neymar will fall down when his legs are taken from under him.
Messi was running full speed with space, the defender could get nowhere near him.
