This is a very very good Spurs squad we're seeing form here. But that's the thing, right now they're just a good squad. There have definitely been times in the past 5 years when they've had a better squad but they've shown they've never been the better team.

So how long can we ride this wave? Not very long, we need to improve this squad especially if Spurs sell Bale, they'll have ridiculous money to invest.

Luiz Gustavo has been allowed to hold talks with Wolfsburg.

Liverpool may not want to sell to Suarez, but who else will they sell to? I know, Real Madrid ... maybe. But the way Spurs are buying, and on top of all other signs, you've got to believe this Bale deal is done. And I can't see Madrid spending so much money to get Isco, Illarra, Bale, and Suarez when they've already got the players they do and also publicly said they don't want to buy another striker and instead want to give a couple of their younger players a shot.

I don't think anything is certain but if I had to bet on it I'd wager it will be settled with Arsenal getting Suarez sometime in the next couple weeks with a fee of £45-50 million.

(That's a lot of money for a problem player, however great he may be. I just hope Suarez scores 25+ goals if he does arrive; that'll ease the pain.)
