The playoff round participants will be decided on Wednesday. Here's a nice infographic with the qualifying tables:

Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
Perhaps yesterday match Skenderbeu Korce - Shakhtar Karaganda was fixed. Odds on under 3.5 were 1-1.3 (normal), but just before the start of the match odds changes to 1-1.8, so looks like that some people played 'overs' for a lot of money.
Today lose two of the three Austria Vienna/Dinamo/Celtic and Legia will be seed in CL play-offs (if they will promote).

Dinamo are the only team there I can see going out and even that is unlikely.

Just saw that Arsenal could meet Fener in the Playoffs. That would be some tie. Arsenal just lost to another Turkish team(Galatasaray)

CL playoff draw on Friday.
Seeded play off teams are apparently Arsenal, AC Milan, Lyon, Schalke and Zenit.

Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
That Celtic game tonight is the worst game I've seen. If we want to get through we will need to sign 3 or 4 players.
I don't know how I want to get. The team from Kazakhstan are the weakest but the trip is horrible. Ludogrets are decent and could cause us problems and the same with Maribor but we should beat them. Austria Vienna and Legia aren't that far to travel but are probably the best teams but I would still be quite confident of going through.

Arsenal can meet:
Fenerbahce
PSV
Metalist Kharkiv
Real Sociedad
Pacos Ferreira
Not easy. There is 3, maybe 4 quality teams. PSV beat them over 2 legs in 2007.

4 GREAT ties.
Zenit v Pacos will be one-sided though.

Fenerbahce might not even be our opponents in the end. They're participation is subject to an appeal after they were banned from Europe.

PSV vs Milan !!!!!! I was secretly praying for this to happen. I remember the time these 2 met in the UCL Semis in 2005. Ambrosini scored with the last touch of the game to send Milan through on away goals.
A true test of grit for the most impressive team from the liga last year. Their pre-season form has been patchy at best, but here's hoping Sociedad pull through unscathed *fingers crossed*

I don't get it, if Fener are banned, as they should, will Arsenal get a clear path to the group stages?

Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
The decision comes after the actual tie itself. Presumably, if Fenerbahce were to go through but then have their appeal turned down, Arsenal will go through in their place.
If I'm reading things right, there won't be a decision before the tie itself, so there won't be a scenario where we end up playing someone else or getting a by to the next round.

Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
Likelihood of Fenerbahce getting thrown out now that UEFA has reinstated them is slim to none... they're just going through the motions for PR purposes.
Anyhow, Lyon is going to have it tough. Just lost Lisandro Lopez. Either Benzia or Lacazette is going to need to be huge... But then again, isn't Griezmann injured for Sociedad?

-For Man City to get into Top 2,all of Milan,Schalke and Lyon should fail to qualify and i think its highly unlikely that happens.
