Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Lol i'm not worried about making the team I've been on it for the past 3 years but I just hate running with a passion
Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I know those feels, I hate running, in terms of "running" for training. I could run all day long as long as I was playing a sport.juveman17 wrote:Lol i'm not worried about making the team I've been on it for the past 3 years but I just hate running with a passion

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Exactly. For me it's mainly a mental barrier. Running for the pure sake of running is very boring and mentally annoying.Motogp69 wrote:I know those feels, I hate running, in terms of "running" for training. Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
With work it's easy to break that barrier though. My wife was a horrible runner when we first got together, she had played volleyball her entire life. Seriously she couldn't even run a mile at a decent pace. Now she runs marathons like they are nothing.juveman17 wrote:Exactly. For me it's mainly a mental barrier. Admittedly though, she won't run with me because I have horrible running etiquette.

When did I ever get into trolling?
I remember I never used to do it. I guess I just don't take GL as serious as our past forums, and tbf it can be fun at times.
Meh, you gotta mix it up and keep it fresh I guess

Can't decide which time is worse, 2am tonight or 4:30am Thursday when I don't have the option of sleeping in after the game.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I actually really enjoy running, though I haven't been in months, I'm going to get back into it as soon as I have a free night where it isn't pouring rain. I just put music on and run for about 40-50 minutes, it just gives me time to think and I know this might seem weird given that I'm exercising, but also relax. The only issue is that my area is ridiculously hilly and the final climb is excruciating.

I'm in the same situation on Thurs. I have Uni at 10am, so maybe I'll record the game and watch it at 6:30am.

They're both horrible .
Especially since with 2am, I could just stay awake until then, but then I'd lose sleep..

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
btw, I think SBS are showing PAOK v Schalke instead of Arsenal v Fener on the Wednesday. And deservedly so, the latter was one of the poorest quality European games I've seen in a long time.

:')
I guess we are up 3-0, and they'd probably get disqualified anyway, so no real point showing our match.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Yeah, the tie is dead. If that's how Fener play at home, it's only going to be uglier and more boring at the Emirates. Another easy 2-0 win to further relieve the pressure on Wenger. Watching that game made me feel sorry for PSV, who would've definitely beaten Fener and would've pushed Arsenal pretty hard for that CL spot too.

What I'm saying is that the Footy shows are absolute crap. AFL or otherwise. Old, washed-up, no-talent footballers with huge ego's, trying to be funny (and failing miserably). In addition, very little good football analysis gets done.fatman123 wrote:These days?Forza wrote:Is this what passes for entertainment these days...?
