40m tops is what Roma are valuing him at.

30m and a Barca youth player might be enough to tempt us though, I wot.

I personally think he needs a few more years at top level though. Could be the new Silva (if he isn't already) if he keeps developing at the rate he did this past season.

Yeah that's probably his most realistic fee tbh. We're slapping higher prices on him to scare off the big boys. It's worked so far, but only for so long.

He's not the type of player Barcelona need currently in the defence but he does have a lot of talent for such a young guy.
Hope we buy him nonetheless

Not sure what makes him 40m worth of "great", but I will say he has these important characteristics which would be useful in any great team:

1. Great anticipation and seeing the game
2. He is completely calm with the ball at his feet
3. Top notch decision making of when to engage and how to engage
4. Probably one of the best side by side full speed defenders I've ever seen

I remember when Zeman asked for him stating something like he is the fastest in taking the ball from the defense to further up the pitch
