It's not just that though. It's not as though Barca are linked with EVERY CB with decent on-the-ball skills in EVERY window. They're linked with some in some and others in others. But with Agger it's the same thing EVERY window and they don't even bother to alter the supposed price.

We're well aware it's a rumour. That's exactly what we're saying (hence the word "linked" rather than "targeted" and the comment on the price that's been quoted. It is a RUMOUR that is recycled every single transfer window. I really am beginning to worry about your reading comprehension skills...

For being an admin, you are a bit of a douche. Stop taking things so personally for literally no reason. I didn't say you believed it was coming from the club, I was hinting to just leave ignore it like I ignore the Rooney rumors.

I wouldn't mind Defoe being sold tbh. He's not of much use to Tottenham any more as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather bring Adebayor in these days than Defoe. Defoe, for how many times commentators will continue to associate the word "clinical" with him, is no better a finisher than Ade, and takes more shots, is more selfish, and offers less overall. I still think there is good in Adebayor yet, despite last season perhaps proving I shouldn't think that.

But Tottenham should keep both tbh. Dempsey shouldn't have to play striker. That shows a shocking lack of depth.

I kinda prefer Osvaldo to Benteke. I'd be happy with either, though it's not the Higgy or Villa I think Tottenham needs.

If Alonso ever does come back to Pool I hope it's in a managerial capacity. My goodness his good looks alone will win us the CL

Benteke could be the one striker target that Tottenham will actually manage to sign. But damn, if Aston Villa lose the player they are starting to look quite weak.

Dont see Jovetic rejecting City but if he somehow does ,then we can see another Lewandowski situation developing.

Alonso has already stated that he will not be returning to the PL this season.

I haven't seen enough of Osvaldo to judge him much.

Despite how he did this year (and he does decently every year), I don't particularly rate Negredo that high.

Osvaldo is cheaper as well.

Thats a bit on the high side but Torino will be buying Juve's 50% of Immobile in a seperate deal so i guess that evens it out.
