I doubt Ginkel would start all the games based on what Mourinho has said so far. Signing De Rossi or keeping Mikel seems like the two options available

True. 90% chance Rossi is coming. If not Mikel will stay. I see Ginkel rotating with either of them.

Think it would be a great idea to bring him back as a coach next year once his Gala contract expires as it mentions in there (depending on whether he retires at that point or not, of course), but before then, as a player -- god no.

The Mirror are reporting that Rodgers is interested in Ryan Bertrand (given the source, take it with plenty of salt). Would Chelsea even consider letting him go on loan or permanently? If so (unlikely as it might be) what type of pricetag would the club put on him?

Somebody like him is hard to say. Based purely on his ability I don't think he's good enough to be a regular starter and I doubt he'll ever get to that level. That said he holds value in that he is happy to not play every game, will play anywhere down the left hand side and the fact that he is English helps out in PL/CL squad registration.

Based on that I'd doubt we would sell him, we have few English players as it is and selling off some depth would be pretty silly as I don't think we'd get much for him. If we did I'm not really sure what pricetag we'd put him up for as it's hard to value how much the different aspects like his nationality hold for the club.

I was thinking of using him in the pivot, but we're quite well covered in the area, he'd be an unessecary signing, although if someone came along and offered big money for Ramires for example it could become somewhat more viable, no question hes got the quality to play for us

Although in the unlikely circumstance that Mou was wanting our wingers to hold their width and play with a #10 Cesc could be that for us too, of course thats highly unlikely
