Only strings i can tell is you get to unlock something from completing the demo that is only available in the main game if you do so.

Underwhelming, camera is a bit annoying at time as it tries to pan and correct itself, combat feels sluggish and unresponisve (and this is with the adult noctis segment), unlike KH where its a bit more fast paced. Graphics are nice, but lots of framerate drops. I like the warp feature, seems really cool. Though, the way the dream is setup leads me to me to believe its gonna be linear af. Hopefully thats not the case, but you never know.

tl;dr: i really don't want it to suck, got a feeling its gonna suck

The most fun I had was knocking the ball off the table with the toy hammer then playing an impromptu game of Rocket League as a truck. Combat was fun enough, if a bit simplistic. It looks great, and I'm okay with it being a bit linear if it gives me plenty of room to explore.

I know it's only a demo but the boss was too easy. Three spells and it was down. Didn't even need to get close to it. The second time with the warps and whatnot makes it even easier. Hope that's not a sign of things to come.

DLING the demo will play tomorrow. As someone who isn't traditionally into final fantasy (I played the first of the Lightning series on release and quit after about 12 hours because I didn't like the battle system) this game looks GOAT material. So happy it's not turn based. Setting looks incredible. Haven't been as hyped for a game in maybe forever.

The demo is alright. It looks very good visually, but the rest of the demo didn't really impress me that much. The demo is very short, the combat is a bit too slow-paced for my liking, and the dummies or "nightmares" + the boss battle were all very easy and simple. Nothing impressive there. I'm sure I'll get used to it, though, and I'm hoping that additional abilities and weapons will add more layers to the combat system in the full game - which I'm definitely looking forward to playing.

But why is it episodic then? Its a bit ambiguous, i imagine the first episode will contain Midgar only and not the whole world otherwise whats the incentive to buy the rest of the episode

Ideally it shouldnt even be episodic

I'm buying a ps4 for FFXV and now FFXII remastered with the new job system too!

I've been staying away from FFXV stuff to not get too hyped but that trailer thimmy posted is just too much, looks ridiculously amazing.
