Back up a bit or hold L2 usually works for me when I'm experiencing interaction glitches for switches, loot and what not.

reloaded the game again and it's still not pressing


Apparently it's a known glitch. And they are fixing it with the next patch

Don't blame you lol, I did the same when glitched mission happened to me.

Although instead of switch not working I got an infinite loading screen, I avoided this glitch though.

So is this like Lord of the Rings and you get to play as Legolas and shit?

Not really. There will be a recap on the beginning of the game summarizing the story so far.

Because it's an amazing game which is fun to play and has a great story

Because it's a mature and dark story ravaged by war and politics in a fantastically realised high fantasy setting.

Plus your decisions actually matter so it feels like you are responsible for what's going on in the world around you.

If I was going to compare it to anything it's more Game of Thrones than Lord of the Rings but still it's not much like that really.

prefer TW's world over GoT tbh

It has the political intrigue from GoT and the fantastical elements of LOTR

GoT has the latter too but not to the same degree

Game is already in my top 7 of all time, I thought I was at the final mission but seems there going to be quite a bit more.

This world is great. Skellige is beautiful. Amazing. So many variations of creatures.

Def gonna do a playthrough on a harder difficulty after to get the experience of oils and potions being absolutely valuable.

Well tbf. The material is Polish. Not exactly the most diverse place on the planet.

The material is polish in the 1300s lol not exactly going to be full of africans or other races.

The game is quite open about how it deals with racism tbf, even makes a point of emphasising it one of the trailers

Often it looks like GRRM took stuff from The Witcher world lol. I really can't help notice the similarities between this world and GOT world

Well the books were released within a few years of each other initially. I doubt they took stuff from the Witcher though, mainly because outside of Poland nobody knew what it was until the games were made.

A Song of Ice and Fire were a lot more popular even before the TV series.

I honestly think Dragon Age took a lot from ASOIAF. Grey Wardens = Nights Watch, completely identical.
