July deadline for Jovetic?

Juventus will have until July 15 to sign Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina, reports Sky Sport Italia.

The Italian champions are interested in the Montenegro forward, but talks are proving to be problematic.

The two clubs do not have the friendliest of relationships, while the Viola’s valuation of the 23-year-old is deemed as excessive by the Old Lady.

Fiorentina have insisted that they will only accept a €30m cash offer from Juventus or any other club interested in the player.

Juve, who are keen on formulating a player plus cash offer, are playing the waiting game in an effort to see Fiorentina’s asking price fall.

The Tuscan club have thus imposed a deadline for the middle of next month in order for the situation to not drag into late August.
