No where did I say I would be in favour of it, I am just stating it is possible.

I would prefer us to spend less. Perhaps starting with not buying Schurrle but clearly the club isn't going to do that just yet.

I can promise you that Romans/the clubs lawyers/accountants are far more intelligent than you, I or UEFA. They're not going to just let us get kicked out of the CL, if we buy him then it's because the club is in a good enough position to do so.

I'm fairly sure there are also investigations into FFP because they way they've implemented it might actually be illegal itself(as funny as it sounds haha).

Indeed. If the club can afford him here and now while adhering to what's right now the law of the land then great. I just don't agree with tempting fate with shady money-raising gimmicks just to be able to continue bankrolling the squad as we please.

According to MVG's agent, he will sign for us. Great news. He also said Van Ginkel will be part of the first team.

As for Paulinho, I'd be quite happy to steal him from Spurs, He is certainly quality enough to be starting for us.

And I still don't see David Luiz leaving.

It appears that that guy was indeed right. He said last Saturday that "within 10 days" the transfer would be done (and at that time, talk on it had gone completely cold) and all signs the last day or so are pointing at just that.
