I liked his attitude a lot today. Some of his statements:

i really craved for neymar to join barca. When i had heard of him i searched about him and saw some of his videos on youtube and instantly became his fan. But my freinds told me that this guy can do those tricks only in brazil, when he comes to europe he will prove to be flop. Nowdays he more and more referred to as overrated. Yesterday in brazil england match,he was one of the few players who played the full 90 min and he didnt to nothing.I have also heard that this guy only looks good on youtube. Starting to have doubts about neymar's capability..

The man doesn't have to do tricks to be good in Europe, when Christiano joined Madrid he stoped playing so fancy.
I don't think he'll flop he will do a good job although it takes time to adapt to a new country, and team.
Give him a year or two before judging him he is only 21 afterall.

Regarding his price, Bartomeu explained that the deal they sealed in 2011 was for 40 milion €, but it was to be executed on 2014. Because they wanted to buy Neymar a year earlier, they had to renegotiate the deal and the price went up. The interest from other clubs also made the price went further up. That's the reason it costed 57.

A couple of other sentences from Neymar:

"I don't like to choose my position, I just want to play anywhere they want me. Even as a GK. If Zubizarreta lets me"

"I speak more catalan than spanish and will try to improve my catalan rapidly".

The guy is a politician. He knows exactly what to say to win the hearts of the fans

I just hope he adapts quickly before people start to judge him in first 2-3 games.

He has been smart enough to learn how to do that. But only the pitch matters

I'm guessing Villa's 7, but they didn't want him wearing it just yet as it would be a huge slap in the face to Villa who is still with us

Actually he's very neccessary,his position is the one we needed to reinforce in the most besides the CB position,we patheticly lacked inspiration in the final third during big games this season,wih Messi being marked or forced too deep,no one else from our atackers was able to cause damadge.

I would actually love to see both of them sold. I love Villa but given his age we might as well sell now instead of later and he'll be a starter wherever he goes (hopefully). Sanchez we HAVE to sell regardless. And in their place we get Neymar, we get Tello full time (I really hope) and even when messi needs a break Neymar can take his place. But enough of that. There is no need. Barcelona openly accept their Duch heritage. Rossell si doing everything in his power to destroy the very fabric and philosophies Senior Cruyff built. Neymar is the begining of the end.

Doing a little research i have come to the conclusion that neymar is really good with all types of passing, has a great vision and great ball control too.
So you can expect him to do the winger job quite well or at least better than sanchez,pedro,tello and villa.
On the other hand he is not so good with one on one's and tapping's. Even with a free and open goal, he misses often.
If messi-neymar cooperate well for the first few matches then there will be perfect coordination between iniesta-messi-neymar.

Neymar makes runs unlike Pedro, and dribbles past his opponents unlike Sanchez.
He doesn't track back as much (from what we have currently seen maybe he's asked not to) compared to our current wingers.

Finishing has sucked from Pedro and Sanchez together so if Neymar misses a few, i still see that as an improvement..
some of the sitters Sanchez has missed this season were mind blowing, and Pedro never even put himself in the position to get those sitters.
