Fabio Cannavaro has claimed that Gonzalo Higuain could make the difference if he signs for Juventus.

The Real Madrid striker has been heavily linked with a move to Turin in the summer, and the former defender has insisted that the Argentine forward could take the Bianconeri to the next level.

“Higuain is an extraordinary player,” he told Goal.com. “I played with him and he is the sort of player who could make the difference at Juventus.

“We hope he can get to Turin.

“If they want to get further [in the Champions League] they have to strengthen up front.”
