Re: André Schürrle
At least unlike Salah he has proved his quality before, not sure what happened this season, but I expect him to pick up his form

Re: André Schürrle
This year was the season he was supposed to 'pick up his form'. He was good last season without being great and after a good World Cup, everyone expected him to kick on in his second season having settled in England and show what he can do. He's done the exact opposite, and I very much doubt the club will be willing to write off this horrorshow campaign of his as a wash and give him a third.

At this point, we need someone to come in and do the job he was supposed to do.

Honestly, take it and run.
30m Euros is a lot for him, add a few (15m or so) on to that and we could go after Reus or Cuadrado.

Re: André Schürrle
I'd hate to see this guy go. But from the way that he's playing the club may decide to do that. I personally believe that he's going to stay until the season is over, unless we get someone who's playing better than him right now.

Re: André Schürrle
^^^Yeah, I'd take Reus too. But he's prone to injuries lately. Hopefully our medical staff can patch him up if ever we get him.
I am really not expecting for us to bring in some new players this window though. I think we'll have that by summer.

Lavezzi and Cavani are going to leave PSG and will be looking for replacements, maybe we should wait their 50M offer.

Chelsea's Andre Schurrle to snub Wolfsburg and hold out for Borussia Dortmund switch
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelseas-andre-schurrle-snub-wolfsburg-4959209Andre Schurrle is set to snub a move to Wolfsburg – and hold out instead for a switch to Borussia Dortmund this summer, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People .
Chelsea’s German international has been the subject of a £23million offer from Die Wolfe this week – but while Jose Mourinho is happy to cash in, it appears the player himself is less keen.
Schurrle has found himself on the outside looking in at Stamford Bridge this season and has failed to nail down a regular spot in the Blues’ starting XI.
With Mo Salah also potentially up for grabs, it is unlikely Schurrle will move in the January window. Cashing in on both players would leave Mourinho short of cover.
Even though Dortmund have struggled this season, it appears Schurrle favours a move to join Jurgen Klopp as Marco Reus is expected to leave at the end of the current campaign.

Reus
Honestly, I don't think Schurrle will leave until June, if he does leave. Dortmund won't sell Reus now so they won't need a replacement now.

Re: André Schürrle
Reus would be huge. I'd say he's definitely at Hazard's level and that's what we need. A player in the right wing as threatening for the opposite's defense as our left side, our attacking would be complete.
On the otherside like Schurrle and Willian he prefers to play on the left, and unlike the two he can't be pushed on the right because he's inferior to Hazard, who would play on the right and who on the left?

Like Schurrle and Willian he'll play on the left, Hazard often drifts to the right, so Reus' technical starting position would be on the right but he'd be free to roam, just like Hazard.

Re: André Schürrle
Chelsea could also let Schürrle leave before the transfer window shuts, with the German World Cup winner ready to tell the club that he wants to play first-team football elsewhere.
Wolfsburg are willing to pay £23m for Schurrle, who, like Salah, was not even named among the substitutes for Chelsea’s Capital One Cup semi-final first-leg draw against Liverpool.
The 24-year-old had been willing to stay and fight for his place at Chelsea until the end of the season and wait to see if Borussia Dortmund firm up their interest.
But Schürrle is understood to be coming round to the idea of leaving Chelsea before the January transfer window shuts if the club give him permission to speak to Wolfsburg or any other club.

Re: André Schürrle
hmm there's nothing like that reported in Germany, I very much doubt Wolfsburg 'are willing', or can afford, to pay anywhere near 23m £ for anyone in the midseason window, and Wolfsburg sports director Allofs commented on the rumour that "there's nothing to it".

Hm. On the other hand, Klaus Allofs mentioned that while they are not actively searching for a replacement for Junior Malanda, they still might consider it. Wolfsburg are in exceptional circumstances after all.

Re: André Schürrle
Fast forward to January 2016 and it will be Remy and some other Chelsea player who have taken Schurrle's and Salah's places as players who have to leave without being given decent amount of chances.
I don't know why Mourinho rotates so little. Chelsea's "12th player with most PL minutes" this season is Filipe Luis with 586 minutes. That's, by some distance, the least among all PL clubs for the 12th most used player.
Obviously Chelsea are top of the table, but I still think Mourinho should rotate more instead of just buying new good players to replace the previous good players who had to leave for getting no game time.
