I dont know man. I wouldn't call Neymar better than Bale. One does pointless stepovers before passing the ball back to someone else behind him while the other cant control his speed. Bale is the superior scorer but Neymar is better on the ball which LaLiga requires. I think Bale has been hard done by having to play in the midfield when he doesn't have the skillset for it. I am 100% he would be alot more respected as a striker. He is an excellent goal scorer and great at getting into good positions, he is just really bad on the ball

If I had a choice I would chose neither

I agree, neymar is def one of the faster players, but pure speed wise, ronaldo, bale, feghouli, PEA, etc..

Bale can't turn direction to save his life however neymar has better agility and balance.


He's more fluid with the ball, he has better attacking qualities and his technique makes bale look like a sunday league player.

I wish we got nerman instead of bale. Bale is literally run and shoot. He has a few abilites that he isn't showing, such as his excellent crossing, good final ball, and decent passing. His passes are actually quite accurate; hes just glory hunting at the moment. But being a selfish prick, he doesn't show any of those. If he doesn't clean up his act, i want his ass out of madrid

No way dude.. neymar has shown that he can still score at a decent rate while playing on the wing with messi. His assist tallys are better. Bale scores useless goals. As a poacher he would be excellent but we don't play with a pure 9.

Ronaldo and benzema are 2 of the best final third playmakers around and he still can't score that much as well.. hence me saying he's out of form. But neymar is so, so much better.

Neymar is so superior to bale individually that i'm wondering how this is a debate.. Neymar is also much more talented and unpredictable too while being a better playmaker. I shiver at the thought of what neymar would be in this current madrid tbh..bale on the other hand is faster but neymar is quicker and bale is stronger hence has a stronger shot power which is enviable.

I disagree with Hala on this. Personally think Neymar is simply a better footballer than Bale would ever be. Only thing Bale has on Neymar is being more athletic.

With that being said, Bale scored in 3 finals, two of which being winners. One of the two was a UCL final against Atletico. Those are fachts. Bale, as a great footballer in his own right, could very much keep his head high in these sort of comparisons.

I rate neither as a great footballer. Just pointing out that Bale is a superior scorer to Neymar. Neymar might be better on the ball which we've all acknowledged but all Neymar does is pointless step overs and fall over at the slightest contact. Of course he'd cut in and shoot every once in a while but thats Neymar for Barca in a nutshell. Put it this way if Barca were 1-0 down and Neymar had the ball on the edge of the penalty box I wouldn't be worried in the slightest. I would be if Messi or Suarez had it because they are real dangerous players Neymar is not.

Bale on the other hand is a frustrating player in posession but you can be sure to always find him in the box. He fights for every ball in the box kind of like Ronaldo but he misses the net sometimes still would trust him to score more than Neymar

A great midfielder is someone like Isco or Kroos or Cesc or Muller et al a great forward is someone like Lewa or Costa or Benz or Robben et al

Guys like Gotze, Neymar and Bale are far away from those players but all of them are still young so could potentially become better. Neymar and Barca are not suited to eachother and Bale will be this way until he plays striker rather than midfielder and Gotze looks like he will be staying in the level he is playing right now

You're an idiot. The team won those trophies. Bale was a passenger in every big game bar those two goals. Neymar would've put 4 past athletico and barca had he played for us. Benzema and di maria were feeding him passes all day long last season and he almost cost us the final by missing sitter after sitter against athletico.

People really don't watch games on here. This fourm is becoming a joke. Bale loses the ball more then any madrid player, cant pass, can't even track back now, but scores a tapin when the game is done and dusted at 5-0 against relegation sides and suddenly hes "clinical".
