Still fly with them all the time, they're not THAT bad to be honest, I think they've improved from when they were first launched.

I've flown Qatar, they were nice though I preferred Emirates to be honest. It also didn't help that when I landed in Doha, they were doing renovations and we had to be taken to the plane by bus. I swear it was a 10 minute bus ride to the plane.

Yeah thats true, the ride from the airport to the plane (and vice versa) is a long one

But the renovations are over methinks, they just opened up a massive new terminal last month. Still the distance is a hectic problem

Emirates give you 30kg of luggage excluding carry on luggage compared to 23 with most other airlines and the food is decent - by airline standards at least.

Has anyone flown Singapore before?

I've flown Singapore once but i was really young, was asleep the whole flight

I take it you can't really appraise the entertainment system then.

Priorities when choosing a flight:

1. In flight entertainment
2. Is actually going to your destination
3. Safety

I'd throw in a "Relaxing" factor or some sort, i need some breathing space for my legs as well as the ability to control your seat. Need some room for me, cant be sitting 6 hours in the same position with the seat in front of you touching your knees, never mind that there's one armrest between you and the guy beside you

And I was forced to turn off the little screen when I had about two minutes of the Doctor Who finale left >(

Have to say I have travelled to alot of places on different airlines and by far Emirates is the best. Food is good, seats are comfortable, movies are free and good to watch, service is great, arrive on time.
