Ibra vs RVP

who is today's n1 CF?

Ibra, carrying PSG.

i created this thread 3 years ago and the reaction was overwhelmingly in favour of ibra . I disagreed back then . I think in terms of ability nothing separates them now, given ibras age and RVP's progress . but i think i would choose ibra as hes less likely to choke in the ucl . in fact, in terms of finishing at the highest level, kuyt is probably better than rvp .

RVP has 23goals/61 games in ucl

ibra 34/106 or so .

both are great though. difficult to choose.

Ibra for me and it's not close. The guy is the complete forward, but the only thing that has ever hurt him is that well, he's "crazy".

Ibrahimovic by far. Its not even close in my opinion.

Robin is forward who has just as good a technique and shooting skill as Ibrahomovic and he is more of a poacher than him.

But Ibra is probably better due to his hold-play,link-up play and strength.


But it is definitely close,one might not perceive that due to Robin having been injured for the best part of his career but having been an Arsenal supporter at his best he can tear teams apart,it is saying something that Alex favours him over Rooney at Arsenal...Alex,Arsene and Holland managers have commented over his amazing football brain a department where he would better ibrahomovic.

But ibra just about edges for being consistent and dynamic.

Rvp had a purple patch recently and only one season was he totally on fire and that was last season.

Ibra is a better CF, a more completed striker,strong and good dribbler.Van Persie is a bit better technicaly but lacks strength and constinency.
