I forgot to praise Webb. By far the best ref I seen in many big profile games, almost perfect in the way that he manages the game, lets it flow, without every big incidents and controversies like many big games nowadays.

yeah, mou failed becouse he didnt manage to bring in a CL trophy, like every manager can guarantee you a CL trophy now adays

Mou has improved this team in every way and made us a top 5 team, to me that isnt a failure

Shouldn't he blame himself? I mean Klopp raped him tactically again, Madrid could run only for the first 15 minutes, and afterwards it was all Borussia... If it hadn't been for that goal in the 83rd minute it would have easily ended 0-0.

And the subs? That left flank was so exposed it was a miracle BVB didn't score in those 3-4 chances they had in the second half. It was a Championship Manager desperate time tactic, when you put 5 forwards ahead and pray it will work. Ozil and Di Maria shouldn't have finished the game, Ozil disappeared for most of the first half and the second one.

No pressure whatsoever put on the two central midfielders in the second half (Bender and Gundogan), they both had yellow cards. Everything through the flanks and based on hoofing the ball in the area where Subotic and Hummels owned everything.

I am glad they didn't qualify, or else everyone would have said what a fabulous manager he was today. Honestly, Borussia controlled the game from the 10th-15th minute to the 83rd.

This is exactly the sort of mentality I was talking about earlier, "I hope we can get a manager who can win us the CL next season", Then what if he cant? Fire him? For another who can win CL the year after?

Maybe forget about your obsession with CL, first try winning the league to start with.

If he can't, then possibly give him a few years like Mourinho. We can't just wait forever to win the CL.

In terms of the league, I'm more concerned about the CL. Obviously it's best if we won the treble, however the CL is the priority.

We need continuity. Mou has to stay, it's hard to find a better one.

I think you'll find that the vast, VAST majority of Chelsea's fans and probably senior players still like Mourinho and would welcome him back with open arms.

In that case though, doesn't the fault for the problems lie with the club, rather than whatever manager they bring in every two years and place such unreasonable expectations on?

I can't blame mourinho for tonight nor do I think he's failed.
We had the 3rd goal at the tip of our dick tonight...
