Did we not score something like 18 goals in 6 or 7 games and only conceded one, and to Rangers at Ibrox, at that?

Besides, I was only kidding. Preseasons mean nothing. Even last years' is proof of that. We were pretty poor throughout losing to AC Milan, MLS All-Stars (which I was at :coffee:

) and bloody Brighton, yet started off the year on a stormer and were 4 points clear for quite awhile until Prattenburg intervened and lack of a competent striker began to take its toll. Literally nothing of any significance can be taken from them.

Yeah, Pre Seasons overall are a bit silly. Just play enough games to get match fitness, no more, no less.
