Is it possible for the player to change when you click on a section/thread/etc?

Is that not what it's meant to do? Not sure why you'd need to refresh on a forum.

Open a tab for each thread?

Use Ctrl-<F5> to do a forced reload, that changes the banner.

Btw if anyone has a better picture of a footballer lifting weights than the current Ronaldo one I might consider changing it. Preferably heavy weight rather than what Ronaldo is lifting.

I have noticed something. The banner keeps changing in Chrome but remains the same in Firefox (changes when page is refreshed). Don't know about Opera, Safari, IE hmm

In Firefox, I close the tab and then open it back in a while. Usually, the banner changes then.
