Stop being jealous lol, Cavani going to PSG would be a great situation for him.
Please.
It's like Hulk signing in Russia, all money.

i'm not jealous that he ain't coming to Juventus. i'm aware it never would have happen.
personally i don't like teams born over night because of money. teams that spend billions that they didn't earn...and ruin the sport. ruin the chance for other to even try to compete...and create this false inflation in players prices...and wages. i'm an economist..and this is outrageous waste!!
(the shiekhs could have build a plant giving at least 100 jobs to youth with that money)
no player is worth realistically more than 30-40m.
i loved loyal players that played with passion..not for money.
if he chose PSG for other than money and bought glory..then he has my respect.
i'm sorry if you support PSG...but i think this is ridiculous and ruins the game

PSG is bringing top talent to Ligue 1 as opposed to paoching from the league... paid 2x the next highest offer for media rights and saved the league... yet french fans complain lol.
I guess PSG should just destroy the squads and Lille, Lyon and OM by making offers to their best players that they can't refuse. Granted, they would all be on the bench lol.

Hold your horses.
According to RMC, Cavani's agent is also reaching a deal with Madrid. Chelsea and City want to jump into the picture as well. If personal deals are reached with all the clubs, then Cavani chooses where he wants to go. All 4 clubs are willing to pay the 63 million.
RMC also reports that Cavani's father is pushing him to join Madrid while Lavezzi is trying to bring him to Paris.
My money is on Madrid.

There are nothing left to buy in Lyon, Lille and OM. Second rate english clubs or spanish clubs are now enough to lure off the "best" players.
Madrid vs Paris, the decision will always be the same.

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
It's a negotiating trick, madrid are not pushing for Cavani at all, they are certainly not gonna pay 60mil, EC contradicted that notion already.sportsczy wrote:Hold your horses.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, because I really don't like City and PSG are just another version of City in another league. I'd really like Cavani to go to a real club...

Napoli is a real club, at least in Argentina. There are many Napoli fans maybe because of Maradona or maybe because many people from Napoli went to Argentina.

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
people and their definition of what's a real club and what isnt?
let me guess, a real club is one that has amassed hundred millions in worth over at least 50 years, and so has earned the exclusive right to buy big players and to dominate football... am i close enough?

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
PSG and City comparisions are solely based on the money they have at their disposal correct? Because other than that I think we can all establish from the past year alone that PSG is a much more well ran club and Sports had an interesting fact regarding that despite the transfers PSG has done with what most consider a high transfer fee they still keep wages surprisingly low.
We can say they spend, but they spend wisely.

€63m roughly equals £53m. It's just a little over what Torres went for. I think it's fair enough price with today's inflated market.

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
Well people are under the impression that PsG are performing so admirably and what they're doing deserves heaps of respect.
Well i'm sorry but very few clubs can go and spend that sort of money because they fancy a new player. What PsG are achieving isn't some sort of miracle, it's playing real life fantasy football. They can buy almost anybody and with this transfer I hope people stop fapping over them getting into the last 8 of the cl.
Yes they have good management, but they have the ability to spend hundreds of millions ffs...

So any player that is on Andy Carroll level should be priced at £35m?Messiah "Aggerswagger" wrote:€63m roughly equals £53m. It's just a little over what Torres went for. I think it's fair enough price with today's inflated market.

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
Even though I personally wouldn't pay that much for Cavani, it would be great to see Napoli have 63 million to invest in their team, as nice as it would have been to see Cavani stay. If his departure allows the team to continue to grow and get better then it's not something that should be held against him, though I personally doubt that he'll do as well after he leaves Napoli unless the situation at some of the teams he'd be going to changes as well.
PSG have done extremely well with their money to this point, I'm not entirely sure that this deal benefits them greatly however. If I were looking to play a strict 9 off Ibrahimovic then I'd be chasing Higuain personally.
If Cavani does leave, I'd be putting my money on either Osvaldo or Damaio replacing him at Napoli.

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
They should of went for Hamsik instead.
He's had the better season and would of went for around 20m max lol.
On a positive note, they won't go for Luis. So on that basis alone, I'm all for it.

Didn't that happen slightly before T.Silva? ...or has he been given another year and I just don't know about it?!dostoevsky wrote:Forza wrote:A transfer rumour hasn't disappointed me this much since T.Silva to PSG.

Never mind the technicalities, the important thing is that Flamini's contract has not been renewed since.

Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
Just players that justify their price tags. Torres was truly worth £50m at the time. And Cavani is just as good. So I don't see why it would be such an unfair price tag.Blue wrote:So any player that is on Andy Carroll level should be priced at £35m?Messiah "Aggerswagger" wrote:€63m roughly equals £53m. Re: PSG agree Cavani deal
PSG tried vey hard to get Higuain but he's too indecisive. Same with Benzema. With the market for top scorers being so tight, i think they just want to make sure they get one quickly. I kind of agree with that.
There are french options for all the other positions of need and french players can be bought very cheaply. This purchase will also be offset by the 15 mil they'll get for Gameiro and the 15-20 mil for Menez. The total wages for the club is 87 mil and, after unloading those 2 and getting Cavani, it jumps up to 90 mil. Still very low. You also have deadweight like Tiene and Camara coming off the books. They make keep Armand.
The club is really managed well. Their total wages are lower than Milan and Juve... have of the elite in EPL and Spain... at least 70% lower than Bayern.
