I'd be upset if they made this signing over a CF, but I think t's safe to assume they're going to get a striker too.

I doubt even Roman is clueless enough to not realise another CF (if not 2) is needed badly.

Did we really though? As the summer went on, it was becoming increasingly obvious that another striker wasn't being targeted and that Torres was going to be made the main man.

I don't think Roman is dumb enough to make that same mistake twice. He'll have seen where it's gotten us having just 1 striker on the books for the first 5 months of the season and 2 for the second - one of whom is total and utter garbage and the other who's yet to really find his previous form. Surely that will not be allowed to happen again.

The thing is, last time something like this happened Abra didn't really do anything.. just Drogba stepped up. We don't have anyone apart from maybe Lukaku to step up.. but Lukaku(as much as i want him to), is still being tested in the PL. Yeah he was great at WBA but he still has to prove himself at Chelsea.
