Messi Penalty Challenge

Basically, Messi has 12 shots and can miss three of them, and he also calls out the number that he is going to aim for before he shoots.

I don't know what is harder this or the robot goalkeeper

he sucks at penalties, it's a fact... missed 6-7 last 2 seasons.. including against chelsea... sevilla and athletico

No he doesn't suck. I saw a penalty % chart and Messi was in top 10. And he hasn't missed 6-7, you are making that up.

Not sure what the rules are for this, I mean he misses a few but just keeps going. Anyway very cool I'm sure a game like that is harder than it looks.

No, he doesn't suck, but shooting actual penelties is much different from those. Even I could have hit all of those to be honest.

Shooting a real penelty is much different becouse you need to shoot it with more power and have accurate shot. Also, it's much different becouse of the pressure and the intensity.

so you are saying you are better than Zidane and Beckham? Zidane scored only 4 out of 12 and Beckham only 3.

You see this is why I need the rules to be explained. Messi got I think 4 in a row then missed one or something like that, but then he kept going.

It felt like he could just shoot as many times as he liked. Was there a limit to how many shots he could take?

Also that kind of proves that this game while pretty cool doesn't really show how good you are at penalties. I mean Zidane is one of the best penalty takers ever and according to this game Messi is twice as good which we all know he isn't lol

Still very impressive though.

To be fair that video tells you nothing about one's penalty taking abilities. With penalties you need power and/or disguise too, something that's neglected completely in this challenge.

I see. Very impressive but like you said you might be unlucky with some of the shots. Even Messi was unlucky with a couple in the video.
